Ezra Miller, 'The Flash' star, arrested for disorderly conduct

Ezra Miller, who stars in the upcoming DC film "The Flash," was arrested in Hilo, Hawaii, on Monday morning. He was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after an incident at a bar, according to police.

The Hawaii County Police Department, South Hilo, responded to a report of a disorderly bar patron on Sunday evening.

According to police, Miller became agitated while bar patrons sang karaoke and began "yelling obscenities." He "grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts," a police statement read.

Miller, who also stars in the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore," was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.

Bail was set at $500. The actor paid and was released from custody, according to police.

Hawaii Couple Files for Temporary Restraining Order Against Ezra Miller Following Actor's Arrest

Ezra Miller's legal woes continue after being charged with disorderly conduct and harassment for two alleged incidents at a Hawaii karaoke bar over the weekend.

Two Hilo residents filed for a temporary restraining order against the 29-year-old Justice League star in the Third Circuit District Court on Tuesday, according to a court document obtained by PEOPLE claiming that Miller harassed and threatened them.

The complaint alleges that Miller "burst into the bedroom of the petitioner(s) and threatened" the alleged male victim by "saying 'I will bury you and your slut wife' " on Monday.

The document claims that Miller stole some of the alleged victims' personal belongings, including a social security card, wallet, passport, driver's license and bank cards.

"The respondent is famous and wealthy," the document continues. "This makes access to weapons much easier; as well as sending associates to harass the petitioner."

The document, signed by both petitioners Tuesday, also says that "unless Respondent(s)' wrongful conduct is stopped or prevented by order of the Court, Petitioner(s) will suffer substantial emotional distress."

Miller had allegedly been staying at the couple's home while in Hawaii, Radar reports, after one of them met the actor at a farmer's market. Sources told the outlet that the couple bailed Miller out of jail on a $500 bond on Monday following his arrest at the karaoke bar.

It was after that, when Miller was back at the couple's home, that he allegedly barged in on them, according to Radar.

Ezra Miller Arrested for Assault in Hawaii, Weeks After First Arrest

Ezra Miller has been arrested for second-degree assault in Hawaii, less than four weeks after the “Flash” and “Fantastic Beasts” star was arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment in Hilo, Hawaii.

Miller was arrested early Tuesday morning after an incident at a private residence in Pāhoa. Patrol officers responded to a report of an assault that occurred at a get-together in the Leilani Estates subdivision in lower Puna. According to the Hawaii Police Department, Miller allegedly became irate after being asked to leave and threw a chair, striking a 26-year-old woman on the forehead and resulting in an approximate half-inch cut. The woman refused treatment for the injury.

Police arrested Miller at 1:30 a.m. after the actor was located on the roadway during a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 130 and Kukula Street in Kea‘au. Miller was released at 4:05 a.m. after conferring with the County Prosecutor’s Office, pending further investigation. The investigation remains active.

Miller’s first arrest came on March 28. South Hilo officers responded to a report of a disorderly bar patron, where Miller had become unruly and yelled obscenities while other patrons sang karaoke. Miller grabbed the microphone from a woman singing and lunged at a man playing darts. After being arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, Miller paid the $500 bail and was released from custody.

A Hawaiian couple filed a restraining order against Miller the day after the first arrest. The restraining order claimed Miller burst into the couple’s bedroom and threatened them, and Miller allegedly stole some of the couple’s belongings, including a passport and wallet. A judge dismissed the order on April 13 at the request of the couple.

According to Hawaii Police Assistant Chief Kenneth Quiocho, Miller had been the source of 10 police calls in Hilo since March 7.

The second arrest comes less than a week after the U.S. release of “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,” in which Miller plays a supporting role in the “Harry Potter” spinoff franchise. The latest “Fantastic Beasts” opened to a franchise-low after it’s been beleaguered by a number of controversies. In addition to Miller’s arrests, actor Johnny Depp was fired from the franchise in the midst of his own legal battles and “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling has been under fire for anti-trans comments she’s made on social media. Also on Miller’s slate, the standalone DC Comics movie “The Flash” is set to release June 23, 2023.

Variety has reached out to Warner Bros. and Miller’s representatives for comment.
