^^^Brad attacked her on a plane, "put his hands around the neck" of one child and hit another. And I don't think that that kind of violence is a singular event, this has been the escalation of growing abuse. Court ordered that he can't be alone with the children, that says something, too. The kids simply don't want to see him. I'm glad that Angelina took them all out of that situation. I also believe that Brad went to therapy and stopped drinking so heavily. All around a bad situation for everyone involved, but Brad is responsible for the outcome. Thank you. Alcoholics are accountable for the damage - mental, emotional, and many times physical - they inflict on their families. Sobered up, they then either claim not to remember, or excuse it because they were drunk. Most good parents do whatever is in their power to remove their children from that abusive atmosphere. As far as Alice and Ioan situation, the damage she is inflicting on her children is despicable, and she seems unhinged. It's enough that I think she should lose custody. Those poor kids are going to be in therapy for life. |

The last I had read was that Jolie was complaining that the FBI (or whoever) would not release the report. |

I think we were reading the same article. I'm not sure what Jolie wants sealed if anything. Supposedly, different new orgs feel she anonymously filed a FOIA to release the FBI report. The reason people suspect it is Jolie is because of the times and dates cited in the request. The FBI declined to press charges after reviewing testimony, and I think that Jolie wanted people to see what the FBI had collected and (in her opinion) ignored. |

I’m absolutely fascinated by this. Having really delved into it when I was stuck at home for ten days with COVID, I read everything that’s out there. Alice Evans is the instigator here; there are court documents of her past abuse of Ioan. She is poisoning her children against him because she is very likely a vulnerable but malignant narcissist, maybe even BPD. She’s created sock puppet accounts on Twitter claiming she’s not Alice “but knows her really well.” (She also writes exactly like Alice, same turn of phrase, same tone, but she really wants us to believe it’s not her.) Alice spends all day and night insisting Ioan is abusive and she’s a saint and her daughters hate their father. If anyone dares point out that her behavior is unhealthy and incredibly damaging for the girls, she has an excuse (“Respectfully, you don’t know the whole story”).
She is unhinged and hell-bent on destroying Ioan and Bianca. The truth is, a lot of us have gone through this. I had a particularly awful breakup with my daughter’s father and as humiliating and heartbreaking as it was (he had an affair with my BFF), he is a good father and loves his daughter. It took A LOT of holding my tongue and being kind when I wanted to scream, but my daughter would have only been hurt by my actions. Good thing I kept the vitriol at bay….Eventually we healed so much that we were/are able to attend our daughter’s events together and even text and email now and then. Our daughter is 23 now and she thanked us for being so kind to each other. I will never tell her what happened or say a negative word about her father to her. What good would it do?
Alice is in Betty Broderick territory. It’s frightening.

Brad had unsupervised overnight child visitation as early as 2017. According to his custody Lawyer's website, he was still fighting for that in 2019, the US Sun (well, not a good source I think) writes that he's still at that in 2022. I guess it's open season for the media. Doesn't matter any way.

Thank you, I appreciate it. It was hellish. And initially I had sympathy for Alice—but the more I followed her, the more horrified I became. Her supporters believe Ioan is a lying cheating narcissist who is putting his daughters through hell….but this narrative only comes from Alice. She cannot shut her trap. She is not putting her children first. She wants to look like she is, because she thrives on the adoration.
Some of her supporters say “Women have to support other women no matter what.” Look, I am a feminist through and through. But that doesn’t mean we don’t call out women who are downright awful and selfish. For some reason I cannot look away from this…What she is doing to her children is so terrible, it will not end well. I think Alice is a self-centered liar and is only using her daughters to gain pity for herself. I have never really seen anything like it—it’s worse than Kelly Rutherford’s drama.
Ioan isn’t a saint—nobody is—but I see a man who had to extricate himself from an abusive wife, and that wife is now punishing him by smearing his name and poisoning his own daughters against him. And I looked up Bianca on Instagram. Obviously we put our best self out there on social media, but she seems genuinely good. She doesn’t talk about her MS or struggles in a self-pitying away, but more…uplifting, actually. I think it’s easy to call the man a cad and his girlfriend a slore, but in this case, it’s Alice who is downright evil. That’s not an exaggeration. I really believe she’s evil and I worry for the girls….and for Ioan & Bianca too, frankly.

Yeah it's a mess and you would have thought that after 7 years that they would get over themselves. The kids will be adults shortly & the only people that will have won is the lawyers & their accountants. |
