Angelina Jolie sparks speculation she's SUING FBI

I too think that Angelina is doing this to prevent Brad from seeing the kids and I'm sure she does it to protect them.
And while I'm not sold to Angie's holy mother thing - I'm 100% on her side when it comes to Brad Pitt. His PR team is really earning their money with the narrative they are spinning, but it doesn't change the fact that he's been a drunken, violent asshole towards Angie and the kids.

^^ The implication, beyond the outfit, is the kid is an outcast of some kind that could cause violent harm. In other words, disturbed.

Let's assume drunk Pitt was using hyperbole.

The articles I've read did say it started over something with one of the children then Pitt asked Jolie to go to the rest room with him to discuss. Obvs, it escalated from there.

I also feel like it's important to remember that a judge did say he was worried about parental alienation on Jolie's side. Neither one is perfect. Brad was obviously a drunk and at least once became physically violent, maybe it happened other times. He does appear to have cleaned up - that could also be really great PR.

I do think that Angie can't deal with Brad having any uncontrolled access to his kids and can't drop it. Maybe she's right? It's also been 6 years and you do have to wonder how badly damaged the kids relationship with their dad is because she can't drop it.

Just a second. All the info is coming from one party - it's easy to see which party that is as there is no mention of what triggered the incident. It starts when Pitt demands that Jolie goes with him to the toilet to have a "discussion".

I highly doubt that Pitt is the perfect man his PR are trying to paint him but he had supervised visits with the kids that the court had to set up. The court had to rules on him having phone access to the kids & one call from Jolie per day when the kids were with him.

There are plenty of divorces that are like this and they do the kids irreparable damage. Using the kids as pawns is bad parenting.

Jolie always had a rep of being as crazy as a shithouse rat but she's now coming off as vindictive and short-sighted.


Brad Pitt made his bed and may have been too stoned when he left Aniston to realise where her bad PR was coming from but now - well - sometimes you don't have to wait til the next life for karma to get you.

"In the heavily redacted report, which was released to both parties as a result of a freedom of information of act request, the actress told agents that while traveling back to California with Pitt and their six children following a two-week vacation, her then husband had been drinking when he told her to accompany him to the back of the plane after he had a​ tense interaction with one of their children.
Pitt's name is redacted in the report, but it refers to her husband multiple times and he was married to Jolie at the time of the alleged incident.

Once there, she said, they were in a restroom which had a privacy door that did not allow their children to see them as she alleged Pitt "grabbed her by her head," "grabbed her by the shoulders," shook her, pushed her into the bathroom wall and was yelling various things at her, including "'You're f**king up this family,'" according to the report.

Pitt was not arrested or charged in connection with the incident after the FBI completed an investigation in 2016.
"In response to allegations made following a flight within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States which landed in Los Angeles carrying Mr. Brad Pitt and his children, the FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation. No charges have been filed in this matter," FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said in a statement to CNN at the time.
CNN has reached out to representatives for both Pitt and Jolie for comment.

"All parties have had this information for nearly six years and was used in previous legal proceedings. There is nothing new here and serves no purpose other than being a media stunt meant to inflict pain," a source close to Pitt said of the report coming to light now.
According to the FBI report, Jolie told investigators that two of their children (whose names are not evident in the redacted report, but were noted to be minors at the time) "were outside the door crying and asked 'Are you ok Mommy?'"
Pitt allegedly yelled in response, "'No, mommy's not ok. She's ruining this family. She's crazy,'" the report states.
According to Jolie, that prompted one of their children to respond "'It's not her, it's you, you p***k,'" which she said enraged Pitt and she alleged that she saw him run toward one of the children "like he was going to attack," at which point she said she got Pitt into a choke hold that he tried to break by throwing himself back, pushing her into the chairs behind them, it says in the report.
Jolie alleged in the report that she suffered injuries to her back and elbow as a result and shared a photo of the injury to her elbow with the FBI.

Black and white photocopies of the photos are included in the report, as well as handwritten pages provided by Jolie, purportedly from her children, containing descriptions of the alleged incident. The handwritten pages are substantially redacted.
Jolie also said in the report that Pitt continued to drink during the two-legged trip, later pouring beer on her. After they arrived in Los Angeles, the pair had a physical altercation and she said Pitt prevented her and the children from leaving the plane for 20 minutes.
In addition to her back and elbow, the report states Jolie said she also suffered "a rug burn type wound" on her left hand. A photo of the wound is included in the redacted report. She was asked about a reported scratch on Pitt, which Jolie said in the report could have been caused by her though she believed she had him more in a choke hold.
According to the report, after reviewing a probable cause statement related to the incident, a representative from the US Attorney's Office "discussed the merits of this investigation with the [FBI] case agent."
"It was agreed by all parties that criminal charges in this case would not be pursued due to several factors," the report reads.
CNN has reached out to the US Attorney's Office for comment.
When reached by CNN via email, a spokesperson for the FBI responded, "No charges were filed in connection with this matter and it would be inappropriate to comment further."
Jolie filed for divorce soon after the incident and while a dissolution of their marriage was granted in 2019, their legal battle over property and custody of their minor children has continued over the years with a California appeals court ruling last year that a retired judge who had been hired to arbitrate the custody dispute should be disqualified because of a possible conflict of interest.
In 2020, Jolie told Vogue India she split with Pitt for the sake of her children.
"I separated for the well being of my family," she said. "It was the right decision. I continue to focus on their healing."
Pitt told GQ in 2017 he had quit drinking after having been "boozing" too much that past year."

So we pretty much say it was Maddox that he attacked. Probably also Maddox was the one who called him a prick. This kid is of age, went off to college and has not had anything to do with Brad since, of his own free will. Brad is the one who fucked up this relationship. Not Angelina.

I'm a little sad for Maddox because Brad was the only father this kid has known. Hell, Maddox was the lure used to reel in a married Pitt who was supposedly hungry for kids & babies that he wasn't getting. But for that matter, Maddox was there first. But if you read another publication covering the same story, there are actual photos of bruises, reports that a drunken Pitt “grabbed her by her head,” “grabbed her by the shoulders,” shook her, pushed her into the bathroom wall, and yelled at her, “You’re f-king up this family” while the kids were crying and trying to protect their mother from the drunk man who poured beer on his wife.

According to Jolie, that comment prompted one of their children to retaliate: “It’s not her, it’s you, you p—k,” which she said enraged Pitt. The actress then alleged that she saw him run toward one of the children “like he was going to attack,” at which point she said she got Pitt into a chokehold that he tried to break by throwing himself back and pushing her into the chairs behind them …

… During the fight, Jolie also claimed that Pitt had said of one of their children “looks like a f—ing Columbine kid,” as we reported.

Pitt, however, has played the game masterfully in the years since with well-placed puff pieces about his sobriety, his painting, meditation, his perfect Oscar campaign, his rekindled friendship with Jennifer Aniston, and his preference for room temperature water over cold (remember that Pajiba debate?)

Couples have arguments. Couples fight over parenting. Couples typically do not have the FBI called in after the drunk husband causes $25,000 damage to a private jet.

If you've lived it, you get it. Just reading this brings on a panic attack - increased heart rate, fear, rapid eye movements, fear, dry mouth, fear, chest pains and fear - always deer-in-the-headlights-fear for myself, yes, but mostly for my kids. Greatest guy in the world except when he drinks and after 5 he pretty much always drinks. 

eta: She's not doing this to be vindictive - she's trying to protect her kids. When my daughter was around 14 she went to stay with her father and his girlfriend in Hong Kong. One night, he lost at Monopoly (he usually wins) and he got so angry he was throwing furniture and yelling that he was going out - he was very, very, drunk. When D and GF tried to hide the keys to the Ferrari, he wrenched them from the GF and then pushed both of them into the wall. D is tall and strong but it still scared her of course. GF is 5'2 and a size 0 - she fell over a chair onto the floor and screamed with pain because her arm got twisted very badly. (She is NOT a crier or a screamer.) Both of them were crying and pleading with him to stop, and not to drive, but he told them to eff off and left. It took my daughter 2 1/2 hours to calm GF down, she was crying so hysterically. 

The next day, he rolled in, gave an "aw shucks, sorry" apology, and Dad and GF went shopping. D declined, which must have pissed him off because he likes to buy his way out of the doghouse. 

At the time, I thought 14 was old enough to be able to protect herself, i.e., not get in a car with him. I was wrong. He's an asshole, and so is Brad Pitt.

Angie's not being crazy or vindictive, or if she is, it's secondary to her absolute determination not to put her children in that situation again.

My divorce was pretty much a preemptive move to specifically avoid a situation similar to this, which I could forsee coming.  At 15 Jr was witness to an event that made me realize that this timid, non-confrontational kid who if anything was actually a little afraid of his dad, definitely had the balls to rare back and punch him in the face in my defense.  It was written all over his face.  Even if it meant he had a drunken crazy man twice his size turn on him.  And I'm so relieved it never came to that. 

Because even though he was a foot taller and more than double my weight, if ExMrD ever went for Jr like this I would have had his ass in a chokehold too.  And probably sustained more severe injuries than AJ vs Vanilla vodka Pitt.  But I wouldn't have given a flying fuck because there's no way in hell you're attacking my kid.  Even if you are my kid's sperm donor.  Fuck, especially if you are my kid's sperm donor.

I was a timid, non-confrontational kid and still live with the guilt of what I witnessed. I would go to bed and hide under the blankets to try and block out what I saw and what I heard but it never worked. Therapy and meds are great but there is still the darkness of night when your thoughts can easily go back to those times and I ask myself 'What could I and should I have done and could I have stopped the misery that was going on around me'? and then I have to 'think myself' away from the bad thoughts or I'd never get to sleep. I feel for those kids. Sorry to post such misery on a Saturday morning but, I hear you and get you, MsDark .
