I truly think she’s a narcissist. I know that word gets thrown around a lot, but I really don’t think she loves her kids the way you’re supposed to. It’s like they’re just little pieces of her that she possesses. It’s hard to explain. Sounds just like my (hopefully) soon to be ex SIL. She’s a POS who uses their child as leverage. I also think she has Munchausen’s by proxy. My brother needs to fight for custody of this child & he’s not doing it, which is pissing me off. Even her own sister told him he needs to fight to gain custody. Bitch took the kid out of state for Thanksgiving & hasn’t been back since. I fucking hate her. She’s not a nice person & I honestly don’t think she’s a good mom. I think she just likes the attention that she gets from having her kid. And she’s also using the kid to get government benefits (that she doesn’t actually quality for. She has family members holding money for her so that she “qualifies”). I can’t wait till their divorce is finalized because I’m reporting that bitch for fraud. Karma is a bitch & so am I when you fuck with my family.

Oh, geez, Holly. I'm so sorry you, your brother, your whole family, and especially your brother's child have to go through all this. Thank you. It’s been difficult for sure. I live in another state so it’s not as much of a “direct hit” for me, but they live next door to my parents & grandchild would come over almost daily, so they spent a lot of time together. And of course it’s hard on my brother. I wish he would get a better attorney & put up more of a fight for custody. But he’s a very passive person & I think ( know) my SIL was counting on it when she took off with the kid. I told him he doesn’t need to be the bulldog, that’s what the attorney is for.

^she doesn't seem like someone who has fun, imo. She does, but she’s very childish. Like I don’t think she mentally developed past the age of 15/16 years old. I’ve said that for years, long before this happened. When she wants something she has tunnel vision & does not look at the big picture or the long term effects/consequences. I also think she’s bipolar (mental disorders run in her family, & her sister is bipolar as well (but she’s on medication for it). We all think she’s bipolar, including her family, but she’s managed to alienate half of them as well. 🙄

I’m sorry Holly but you’re right it’s for your brother to fight. It might be that he’s just beaten down by it or he’s like my neighbours & he’s an enabler for her. It can be a weird dynamic.
My neighbour’s mother warned me that her daughter was a bitch & she wasn’t wrong.

My neighbour’s mother warned me that her daughter was a bitch & she wasn’t wrong. He’s definitely been beaten down by her & he’s made all kinds of excuses for her during their marriage, so it’s definitely a strange dynamic. He also did everything he could to try to make her happy but nothing ever did (at least for any amount of time) because she was always wanting the next thing. Nothing was ever enough, & nothing will ever be enough because she can never be content.

FBI Records Shed New Light on Why Brad Pitt Wasn’t Charged in Alleged Jet Assault Wild September 2016 jet ride led Angelina Jolie to file for divorce days later By Nancy Dillon FBI Records Shed New Light on Why Brad Pitt Wasn't Charged in Alleged Jet AssaultFBI Records Shed New Light on Why Brad Pitt Wasn't Charged in Alleged Jet Assault Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt attend the premiere of "By the Sea" at the 2015 AFI Fest at TCL Chinese 6 Theatres on November 5, 2015 in Hollywood, California. Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic Dramatic new details about the mid-air meltdown that ended Brad Pitt’s marriage to Angelina Jolie – but did not lead to criminal charges – are coming to light in newly surfaced FBI investigative records obtained Tuesday by Rolling Stone. The records include an interview summary in which Jolie purportedly told FBI officials that Pitt yelled at her, “grabbed her by her head,” shook her, “pushed her into the bathroom wall” and repeatedly punched the ceiling of the plane during an initial outburst about 90 minutes into the private jet flight that departed France and made a pitstop in Minnesota before eventually landing in Los Angeles on Sept. 14, 2016. Jolie said Pitt’s actions frightened the couple’s six children, who ranged in age from 8 to 15 at the time. When one of the kids allegedly called Pitt a “prick,” he bolted at the minor “like he was going to attack,” the paperwork states. At that point, Jolie “jumped up” and grabbed Pitt round his neck with her arms, “like in a choke hold,” according to the report summarizing Jolie’s version of events. Pitt purportedly threw himself back, pushing Jolie into the seats behind them, causing injury to her back and elbow, she told investigators. According to the highly redacted paperwork, Pitt allegedly consumed multiple alcoholic beverages during the flight and at one point “poured beer on (Jolie) and the blanket she was under.” When the plane landed, it also had $25,000 worth of damage from spilled red wine, Jolie claimed. Jolie said Pitt’s alleged behavior “didn’t feel real” and left her feeling “scared” and “like a hostage.” She claimed Pitt pushed her again when she suggested taking the couple’s children to a hotel to get some much-needed sleep after landing. “You’re not taking my fucking kids,” Pitt allegedly yelled in response. Jolie detailed her injuries to FBI investigators, including a “rug-burn type wound on her right hand.” When asked about a “scratch” on Pitt, she replied that it could have been from her, the paperwork states. The fact that both parties had apparent injuries likely complicated the charging decision for investigators. The files obtained by Rolling Stone also said that Jolie “was personally conflicted on whether or not to be supportive of charges.” At least, that’s what her lawyer expressed in a call with investigators in December 2016, weeks after prosecutors made their initial decision to decline charges. “After reviewing the document, representative(s) of the United States Attorney’s Office discussed the merits of this investigation with the case agent. It was agreed by all parties that criminal charges in this case would not be pursued due to several factors,” the FBI case agent wrote in a report memorializing a Nov. 22, 2016, meeting. “In response to allegations made following a flight within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States which landed in Los Angeles carrying Mr. Brad Pitt and his children, the FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation,” Laura Eimiller, a spokeswoman for the FBI’s field office in Los Angeles, said in Nov. 22, 2016 statement. “No charges have been filed in this matter.” Jolie, 47, filed for divorce within days of the jet confrontation. She and Pitt, 58, were later declared legally single, but their custody arrangement remains in dispute. The FBI files obtained by Rolling Stone were the results of a FOIA request linked to Jolie’s ongoing pursuit of more documentation in the case. That effort led the Maleficent star to sue the Justice Department as a Jane Doe plaintiff in March. Politico first speculated that Jolie was the anonymous plaintiff behind the suit, and Puck confirmed the hunch Tuesday. Jolie is seeking a more thorough search of government records for non-exempt files related to the 2016 probe. Reps for Jolie and Pitt did not respond to requests for comment from Rolling Stone. A source close to Pitt previously told this reporter that the actor engaged in a verbal argument with his oldest son Maddox during the jet ride. “He certainly could have behaved better, but there was no physical abuse (of the teen),” the source said.

Geez, let it go. It's been 6 years. Theres nothing good to come of this.
I would think it also depends on whether or not they were in America airspace when it happened. 90mins out from France I would say not.

If it's air safety it's the jurisdiction of the country it lands in

He did a shitty thing. By all accounts, he’s since got his drinking under control and went to therapy. Making 6 kids testify to figure out what happened on that plane doesn’t seem like it would have helped anyone. Not letting this go 6 years later makes Jolie sound like a raging nutter.

I do think she should let it go, but it sounded like she filed the lawsuit after learning that the FBI had been considering charges. I can see her wanting to get the records.
I doubt this was the only time he put his hands on her. I'm sure it's hard to let it go, and he's still acting like an abusive prick with his fuckery over the winery. He reminds me of Johhny Depp.

Re: the winery isn’t she the one who reneged on their agreement and sold her stake to a shady Russian oligarch behind his back, Which he was understandably pissed about? How is that him acting like an abuser? If you’re in Europe right now and in any kind of business with Russians, it’s a fucking nightmare because of sanctions and banks and companies not wanting to touch you.

Yes & it's 50% and he/they had turned down an offer previously as he wants to make an original wine not the wine-equivilent-of-fosters.
The dispute intensified in 2021 when Jolie sold her stake to Tenute del Mondo, Stoli group’s wine division, owned by oligarch Yuri Shefler. Earlier this year, as the dispute rumbled on, it came out that Pitt’s lawyers believe that Shefler is: “…bent on taking control of Miraval”.
In this latest ruling, Jolie’s lawyers have successfully subpoenaed Pitt’s people for documents, and that this could not wait for the Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood (2019) actor’s lawyers to appeal the decision either. The documents pertain to Pitt, his business manager and his company, Mondo Bongo.
Page Six quoted a source close to Jolie who believes that Pitt “can’t see past his hatred” of the Eternals (2021) actress: “Any rational human being would be happy for Stoli [to be a partner]…They have top-notch marketing and distribution”.
However, someone close to Pitt informed the media outlet that selling part of the business was contrary to the actor’s long-term plan: “The best way to retain value for [their children] is for the parents to retain full ownership of this increasingly valuable and expanding asset.”
