i like the batman movies, too.
i haven't seen a lot of the movies mo listed.
i loved dr strange (the first one), haven't seen the second. captain marvel was ok. wonder woman was so-so but i did enjoy watching it with one of my daughters .... she said some things during the movie that were very revealing. so i liked it more for that than the actual movie.
loved the iron man movies despite goop's presence.

Liked Aquaman because of hottie Jason Momoa. Turd was forgettable, didn’t realize she was even in it.

Jason Momoa was the reason 99% of people watched this movie.

She has the charisma of a wetwipe and a piece of wood has more life. She's a terrible actress and she's only gotten roles because of her looks but she's not talented.

I have no idea because I'm not familiar with her work. Maybe they just needed a pretty blonde girl in these roles of hers, but she can't be that horrible to have gotten the ones she did.
I personally had high hopes for her to have a fling with Eddie Cibrian when they did that shitty "Playboy" TV show together. But that got cancelled quicker than a mofo so it never happened. But in reality it was probably mostly due to Falcor giving up her career to babysit his dick.

There really is only one superhero for me........Christopher Reeve as Supes! I haven't watched any other superhero movies! My brothers collected the Superman comicss when we were kids and I loved reading all about the characters. They also collected Batman comics, but what is the point of a superhero who can't FLY? DUH! Anyway, a little palate cleanser, as it's almost time for dinner in the UK..........

The difference between Marvel and DC movies is like night and day. And by that I mean that DC movies are so underlit that you literally would think the producers couldn't pay their electric bill. It's infuriating, and I think it's because DC's special effects budget is a fraction of Marvel's, and they compensate by making things harder to see. Especially on the movies that Zach Snyder directs or produces. For me, the Spiderman and X-Men movies have been fun. Guardians of the Galaxy was fantastic - visual LSD. Deadpool 1 and 2 - fantastic (an antihero superhero movie). I liked Iron Man. Avengers were unwatchable until the last 2. I hate Thor. REALLY hate Captain America. Can't stand Incredible Hulk. Ant Man just sounds stupid from the get go. No idea about Dr. Strange. I haven't seen Captain Marvel would watch it just for Brie Larson. I would watch Brie Larson do her taxes, though. Marvel tend to have more engaging storylines, characters and humour too. I've sat through a couple of DC films and they just felt lacking the zing that makes Marvel films so much fun. Exactly what I was going to say. In Marvel films, even if the story is MEH, I often root for the characters. The soundtrack is often good as well, and you actually SEE what happens XD DC really need to hire some good light specialists

The actor who won yesterday is trying to quickly settle an abuse lawsuit set for trial next month. The only holdup is the NDA he wants the plaintiff to sign. He has admitted to the beating, but doesn't want it spread far and wide after yesterday.
Johnny Depp
More shite from CDANs - incidentally that website is nearly impossible to read now due to all the ads on it.

Liked Aquaman because of hottie Jason Momoa. Turd was forgettable, didn’t realize she was even in it. I can't tell you how many times I've seen Zombieland and only found out recently that she was Columbus' neighbour and the first zombie he killed right at the start of the film.

Amber Heard has publicly accused her ex-husband Johnny Depp of physical abuse again during an explosive TV interview, insisting that she will 'stand by every word of her testimony... until the day she dies', less than two weeks after she was found guilty of defaming the actor by claiming that he sexually assaulted her during their marriage. The 36-year-old actress blasted Depp, 59, as a 'liar' and repeated her claims that he beat her during their marriage while speaking out about the 'unfair' verdict in the former couple's $8 million defamation trial during an interview with the Today show's Savannah Guthrie. During the sit-down interview - which was pre-recorded on Thursday after the actress flew into New York on a private jet from Washington, D.C. - Heard also accused the jurors in the trial of being duped by her ex-husband, branding him as nothing more than a 'fantastic actor' who 'convinced the world he had scissors for fingers', in a bizarre reference to his performance as Edward Scissorhands in Tim Burton's 1990 movie. Heard quickly clapped back at Guthrie, 50, when asked what she thought about allegations made by Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez - who shot to online fame after her ferocious cross-examination of Heard on the stand - that she had been 'performing' on the stand and that she had lied about the abuse she says she suffered at the hands of the actor. Says the lawyer for the man who convinced the world he had scissors for fingers,' Heard hit back. 'I'm the performer? I had listened to weeks of testimony insinuating, or saying quite directly, that I'm a terrible actress. So I'm a bit confused how I could be both.' Earlier this month, a jury ruled that Heard defamed her ex-husband by publishing a piece about being a sexual assault survivor in the Washington Post. She was ordered to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, although the second payment was reduced to $350,000 per Virginia law by the judge. She was awarded a relatively paltry $2 million in compensatory damages, meaning that Depp, 59, walked away from the case with Heard owing him $8.35 million. But despite a jury ruling overwhelmingly in her ex-husband's favor, finding Heard guilty on three counts of defamation against him, the actress refused to walk back her claims of abuse against him - instead doubling down on her allegations that he was physically violent towards her and accusing him of 'lying' on the stand when he said that he 'never hit her'. 'He said he never hit you. Is that a lie?' Guthrie questioned, to which Heard responded bluntly: 'Yes it is.' She added: 'To my dying day, I will stand by every word of my testimony.' www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-10915105/Amber-Heard-accuses-Johnny-Depp-physical-abuse-lied-stand.html

These two are going to end up killing each other.
They are unfathomably, toxically, obsessed.
Please stop.

I think it’s a legal strategy. She’s appealing and hoping to get he damages if not reversed at least greatly reduced and that won’t work if she admits fault now. And I hope she wins on appeal because he doesn’t deserve a cent. The best that can happen is a stalemate with neither of them owing the other money.

Yeah, whether I believe her or not, I agree she needs to stop, she isn't helping her case in public opinion. I don't know if this is her or her PR team but I don't think it will work. Based on what I've seen on twitter, they are just stirred up again with the same old hashtags trending #amberheardisaliar etc. She is not going to have the big Hollywood career she hoped for with Aquaman, she will be lucky to get some indie films in the future if she lays low for awhile. The only thing that might save her is Depp fucks up again big time and she can say, "see I told y'all".
I had to laugh at her saying, oh everyone says it was a big performance, then they say I'm a shitty actor, so which is it? That's kinda true.
eta: Dateline is doing a story Friday night, it will be interesting to see if it's slanted either way.
sput, I also hope she wins an appeal. A lot of her evidence was suppressed at the trial, which may all be proper, but maybe not. Another thing that might happen is Depp's team might offer to waive the judgment if she doesn't appeal. I dunno, it could happen.

It will be interesting to see what the assault case against the film workers comes out to as I think that might lend gravitas to her appeal.
