How do you spend £50,000 at one Indian restaurant? Was that a down payment to buy the place??? Looking it up it seems to be a fairly upmarket fine Indian dining place with private dining facilities and capacity for 350+ guests over several floors and cocktail lounges. £50k sounds about right for covering the cost of closing the whole place to the public for the evening plus food for 20+ people. Still crazy money for us mere mortals though. If it were $60,000 for let's say 30 people, it would be $2,000 a person. I'm thinking 1) aged beluga caviar and truffle hoagies, 2) with panda liver pate, and 3) wine that was personally stomped on by Baron Rothschild back in 1850. Plus, a Big-Gulp-sized tumbler of Kopi Luwak coffee to take home as a parting gift.

The Johnny crazies on twitter say he was just being led through the crowds of fans. He does look trashed. The Johnny crazies are also trying to organize a boycott of Aquaman 2, since the producers didn't respond to their petition to remove Amber from the movie and re-shoot all her scenes. That'll show them!

Boycott Aquaman 2 for what? The first one was shit, so why is anyone planning to see the second? I only made it through about 15 minutes of it.

I loved the special effects. It made me believe a man could swim!

I didn't even realise that AH was in it I think I only saw 10-15 mins & it was terrible
Mohammed Hussain, Operations Director of Varanasi, which is considered one of the UK’s leading Indian restaurants told MailOnline: ‘We had a call out of the blue on Sunday afternoon saying that Johnny Depp wanted to come to eat with a group of people.
‘I was shocked and at first, I thought it might have been a wind up. But then his security team arrived, checked out the restaurant and we let them have the whole place because we were concerned that he might be bothered by other diners.’
Mr Hussain added: ‘He was a very lovely, down to earth bloke who spent a lot of time speaking with the staff, our friends and family and was happy to pose for pictures with them. You would never have thought that he was such a big star. He had a lot of time for us all.’Mr Hussain revealed that cooks at the restaurant prepared a special banquet for Depp and his group that included starters of shish kebabs, chicken tikka and tandoori king prawns.
The main course comprised butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, lamb karahi and king prawn bhuna. All the food was accompanied by nans, rice and salad.
Opting not to go for traditional Indian desserts, Depp finished off his meal with panna cotta and cheesecake.
MailOnline understands that the bill for the whole evening came to around £50,000 which was paid for by Depp.
Mr Hussain recalled the most surreal moment of the night was when Depp broke away from his party and sat with him for around 20 minutes in his office.
Mr Hussain said: ‘He said he wanted a little break from everybody and sat in my office, where he watched the people in his group on CCTV and asked me a lot of questions about it.
‘I didn’t ask him about Amber Herd or the court case. It was just a nice conversation with a very humble man. I’m still pinching myself because I never dreamt that Johnny Depp would be in my office having a chat about how the CCTV in the restaurant works.’

This is why they made a second one:
Box office. Aquaman grossed $335.1 million in the United States and Canada and $812.6 million in other territories, for a total worldwide gross of $1.148 billion. It became the highest-grossing installment in the DCEU and the highest-grossing film based on any DC character as well as Warner Bros.
I never saw the first one so don't plan to see the 2nd. Just not into the whole Marvel universe.

^ You're right, but I don't know the difference. Guess I'm not into the DC universe either.

Well I do like Marvel and hate DC, so I guess this all tracks. I can't imagine Marvel ever putting out anything as shitty as Aquaman.

^ You're right, but I don't know the difference. Guess I'm not into the DC universe either. I can’t tell the difference and I don’t get the appeal either. The only ones I kind of enjoyed are black panther and the first Wonder Woman but I also know I’m in the minority given how successful these movies are pretty much around the world. They must tap into the same gene required to enjoy team sports and that I also seem to be lacking lol

And by that I mean that DC movies are so underlit that you literally would think the producers couldn't pay their electric bill. It's infuriating, and I think it's because DC's special effects budget is a fraction of Marvel's, and they compensate by making things harder to see. Especially on the movies that Zach Snyder directs or produces. For me, the Spiderman and X-Men movies have been fun. Guardians of the Galaxy was fantastic - visual LSD. Deadpool 1 and 2 - fantastic (an antihero superhero movie). I liked Iron Man. Avengers were unwatchable until the last 2. I hate Thor. REALLY hate Captain America. Can't stand Incredible Hulk. Ant Man just sounds stupid from the get go. No idea about Dr. Strange. I haven't seen Captain Marvel would watch it just for Brie Larson. I would watch Brie Larson do her taxes, though.

Well, foie gras would be acceptable over the panda liver. And I would prefer some pan-fried morels in lieu of the truffles. LOL I'm so oblivious I didn't even know Aquaman ever came out. Someone asked me if I liked DC or Marvel and I told them Batman. I always want to get into all the superhero/comic movies because everyone talks about them but I'm so out of my element. I did like Iron Man (the first one or two?) and loved Wonder Woman as a kid, but I haven't seen the WW movies yet. I started to watch Black Widow on a plane, but didn't finish it.I may one day sit down and watch all or most of them over the span of a few years just so I have something to add to the conversation. They look like fun movies, though.

Marvel tend to have more engaging storylines, characters and humour too. I've sat through a couple of DC films and they just felt lacking the zing that makes Marvel films so much fun.
