Naan bread wraps. I’ve wanted to make naan for ages and finally did. Sooo good, much more flavor and better texture than store-bought. The garlic butter brushing makes them even better. I used this recipe with the over-night rise, and it is indeed pretty easy. Am planning to make her Turkish pide next, sort of an alternative to boring old pizza. 🙄

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, that garlic butter sounds dreamy! I'm making naan dough in my breadmaker so I'll brush them, as you say, with garlic butter- *chef's kiss*

Ajiaco. It’s a delicious soup made by this Cuban lady that cooks and delivers to us at the office. It’s got ham, sausage, beef, malanga, corn, carrots and pumpkin in it.

^^^ yum. i've had colombian and peruvian ajiaco but never cuban. now i'm curious.
i'm having a veggie bowl with a bit of green salad with shaved fennel and radishes, some pickled cabbage and carrots i made monday, and for substance and protein added warm sweet potato and broccoli and two eggs on top. i'm also very proud of the fact that both my eggs came out perfectly jammy.

I had soup dumplings for lunch today. No idea what was in them, but they were delicious.

Sputnik, it’s. Probably very similar to the Columbia and Peruvian soups. I really like that they put cut corn cobs instead of just the kernels. Constance, I love cherries and they are great for gout. They are hit or miss down here though. The last bag I bought were mostly sweet but then I’d get a stupid one.

I bought lots to freeze plenty, not enough left to bother now. 🙄

A salad I tossed together from diced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and a can of spicy(ish) tuna. Did that a couple of days ago because that was basically all that was left in my fridge, and I wasn't in the mood of leaving the house. It's so simple but delicious, it's now my go-to lunch when I finally drag my lazy ass to the gym and have to have a quick something before starting work again.

I made burgers stuffed cheese, onions, and lots of seasoning, topped with sautéed onions, pepper jack and American cheese. Scalloped potatoes as a side. I’m terrible and wonder why I’m gaining weight! At least I cooked the burgers in the air fryer.

I'm all by myself an eating a gigantic salad with iceburg lettuce, baby spinach, baby portabella mushrooms, shredded carrots, red onions, plum tomatoes, tuna, and parmesan cheese. With a salad dressing made from olive oile and Asian rice vinegar.
