Omg, I’m also relieved for you that it’s scar tissue, but the scene you described, gif it must have been terrifying, and then jut waiting for the results, I can imagine the nightmares and anxiety I do hope the lift turns out fine, it’s a shame you have to got through an operation again but I bet the surgeon will be extra careful to not get his ass sued

Oh my goodness Lofty I just saw this. I am so sorry. I honestly don't know how you handled going through a then and there biopsy. I had one this week and I was teary the whole time. The enormity of it was a lot for me -- even though odds were tipped in my favor. I can't imagine how scary that must have been. You are a very strong woman! I'm glad there isn't any cancer and you are going to get your reduction fixed. You are truly lucky you have a surgeon who will admit it's something that needs to be fixed, although I'm sorry you have to go through surgery again.

super duper mega rave My partner finally got a job as an engineer !!! I somehwat pushed him to complete his degree 3 years ago, unfortunately he validated his last exam right before covid so it took an extra year for him to find an internship, which he completed back in July - he then finished writing his thesis and now he's got a job! It's a major step up for him, and will also make our life better, ya girl is now on the hunt for a new apartment (Bacause I need space XD)
And ComicCon !!!! One more day to go, I've been tattooing non stop for the past 2 days and I love it ! It's the week end I spend the entire year looking forward to <3

Rant: I'll be spending two weeks in Mexico starting next Friday - was hesistant first as I was not sure if I will travel alone again, and also a bit tight on money right now but really needed a break. Was a good decision, will meet my friends in Mexico city, and then friends from another country in central America will join me. AND three weeks ago our company decided worldwide to give us a bonus in November, not a big one, but certainly great for traveling! It's enough to get my plane ticket covered and will make sure I will never be without a Mezcal and a Taco for the whole trip. Pixie I would really love to get a tattoo from you. How fun would that be! I was really thinking about it when we last talked about it, but now that unfortunately my pup passed I have more possibilities travelling.

Yeaaaaaaay that would be awesome ! (I mean of course I'm not saying that about your poor pup)
I'm glad you had some nice time abroad, how was Mexico city? It's a bit ridiculous, it's one of those countries I'd like to visit but I've seen to many documentaries and films on tourists being kidnapped and tortured and shit and now I don't dare go, when it's probably really not as bad as those films made it out to be XD

Rant: After some unseasonable warm weather it might snow today.

Yes, there are places you shouldn't go, but the city is so big you wouldn't accidentally end up there. Mexico is one of my favourite places to travel to. The food, the culture, the people, the nature... it's just beautiful. And I haven't been kidnapped before, so that's great!

Rant: major cold front and fairly new neighbors behind us leave their poor dog out 24 x 7, no shelter, he just lays down on the concrete by their back door at night (yes, I’ve snooped, and I am not ashamed. I normally don’t give a shit what the neighbors do, but I won’t ignore animal neglect when I am aware of it). It’s going down to 13 F tonight, 17 F tomorrow night, low 20’s at night til middle of next week, much too cold for dogs and cats to be out without warm shelter.
Husband did not want me to call animal control because these people are dodgy and he is concerned about retaliation, but I told him I am not sitting in the warm house while the dog suffers in the cold, and he has come around.
Rave: I called animal control and explained the situation, and they suggested waiting until evening when they are home and, if the dog is still outside, calling the sheriff’s department who will dispatch the animal services after hours person to investigate and help the dog. I really hope these people do take the dog in, but I don’t have high hopes.

Happy update rave: they took the doggy in! So very glad I was wrong and they care enough to get him out of the cold and windchill. 😻

Rant - this morning, I was downstairs, all by myself, getting ready to go to the gym, when I turned around a corner in the kitchen and hit an open door SO HARD with my forehead that I thought I might have fractured my skull at first. Also hard enough to have a very tiny cut. The reason the door was open was so that Bleu could go downstairs (to the rec room/basement area) and explore whenever he wanted to.
Rave - After determining that my skull was still intact, I immediately started rubbing and massaging it like crazy. Then, I put ice on it and took two ibuprofen (to reduce swelling). It doesn't look (or feel) too bad.

Rant: I had tickets to see They Might Be Giants in Austin three years ago. The rescheduled date happened last night and I had to sell my tickets. Pain.

^^^ Wow. I love "Don't Let's Start"
Rave - our kids are done with their semesters. It was pretty grueling. I was reading philosophy readings with our daughter until the bitter end. It was a positive experience for me. I've learned a lot about John Stuart Mill and Immanuel Kant and that's just in the last two weeks. She is officially a Junior and will be taking mainly core classes this Fall. And she has something like a 3.5-3.6 average. Our son got his first B - he was already a Sophomore after his first semester.
Rant - it looks like our son's gf picked up a really bad sinus infection while she was in Japan and as a result will not be able to go with us on our beach trip (she gets back the morning of the day we leave). I'm really bummed -- I wanted to spoil her.
Rave - I'm on schedule with repainting our bathroom before Mrs Mo gets back. Last night, I finally finished getting the last of the wallpaper off the walls. It was grueling. I think I was working on it three days in a row until 1:30 am each night. Last night I did some minor patching. Will sand down tonight and probably prime. Then, I can spend Tuesday through Thursday next week putting the actual coat of paint on. Along with putting up new blinds and hopefully drapes. As well as cleaning up the room and putting everything back. If I can pull this off, she is literally going to pass out when she sees it. We'll see.....
