Supposed to hit around 50 here (Detroit area) today as well. Most of the snow accumulation (we didn't have more than a couple of inches) is gone, and it's just sloppy now.

Well we got 8 inches of heavy wet snow overnight. Strangely no snow plows have been around yet so I’m stuck for now.

It was in the 50's yesterday, will be today and tomorrow as well. On one hand, I can enjoy being outside and taking long walks. On the other hand, global warming.

Yeah it's in the 70s here now. Jr and I are trying not to turn the AC back on. Sitting here with the windows open and fans.
I hate this weather. In 2 days the high temps will be back down into the 40's.

hey guys, we are ok, thanks for asking. major flooding but we are on a large hill so safe. didn't even have a power outage so super lucky. thousands of homes without power in our area. cable was out this AM for a few hours but i could do work calls from the landline. straight outta the 90s.
ET forgot her sports bra for her basketball game in 45 minutes. so i will have to figure out how to get it to her, the school parking lot is currently flooded. it will take some maneuvering but i will venture out in a few.

^^^ yeah - lots of incidents like that around here. right now a break in the rain, next round of storms due on saturday.
eta: i think that pic is from san rafael (central marin), the canal area.
the worst hit places were north (like sonoma) and south (like santa cruz).
break in the rain now but storm will resume on saturday.
