Now there's speculation by a former Fed, Jennifer Coffindaffer, that Kohberger posted about the murders online under the aliases Pappa Rodgers (Facebook group) and InsideLooking (Reddit). The Pappa Rodgers account has been silent since Kohberger's arrest and a quick check on Reddit says that the user has deleted the account. Images from a Daily Mail article. I'll post a link to the article and relevant/interesting Reddit subs at the bottom. Image source and news article: Daily MailReddit sub where Kohberger is alleged to have posted: Reddit r/Moscow MurdersA different Reddit sub about the murders. This thread is speculating about whether Kohberger actually was u/InsideLooking: Reddit r/Idaho4

I wouldn't doubt it. He was probably quite proud that his crime was getting so much attention. Not a stretch to think he watched all the news reports and social media posts and couldn't resist chiming in. I'm sure they've confiscated all his devices and will know what he googled or posted. Even if he knew about the sheath being left behind, he obviously didn't think he left any dna or that they were getting cell phone and surveillance. Again, this isn't the 70s when things weren't so sophisticated and that's why Bundy et al got away with so much before they were caught. I heard or read somewhere that when they raided his parents house he was SHOCKED. Dumbass really thought he got away with murder. Of course the cops kept things very close to the vest, so he didn't think he was on the radar. He thought he was a criminal mastermind and was likely planning his next murder.

I think he expected another Jon Benet Ramsey/Keystone Cops debacle for the investigation. Moscow law enforcement took a lot of heat but they appear to have run a tight, intelligent investigation.

Yeah, I’m sure thought he was the smartest man in the room. He’ll, the whole school. And he thought the cops were like Mayberry and Barney Fife was investigating the murders. I’m afraid I’ve become obsessed with this case. It led to a nightmare and when I woke up I thought I saw someone standing in my bedroom doorway. I screamed and got tangled in my bedding. I looked again and was gone and I thought he was coming at me. I was waiting for a body to hit me. I’ve never been so terrified in my life. I turned the light on and nobody was there. I had been reading about the case before bed. I kept thinking that must be how they felt seeing him. I decided no reading about the murders after a certain time. I make sure my doors are locked at all time.

They're going to tear down the house. The owner have it to the university and they're having it demolished. Good call.

This is stupid. There isn't anywhere he can get a fair trial since the whole world knows what he did.

I think he will 100% get convicted in any other venue, anyway. But Greysfang, do think this was done to protect against his appeal chances on venue?

Most likely that is the judge’s reasoning. But honestly in such a sensational case I can’t see an appeals court overturning it if he ruled the case would stay in its home jurisdiction. But I’d ask shellee, she’s much more familiar with criminal law than I am.

I actually could see an appeals court overturning it, but in all honesty, I’ve never had to deal with this type of thing before. However, I’m also basing this on the Miami appeals court which overturns so many convictions that it’s ridiculous. Come November, I am going to vote all of those judges out and I’m telling everyone to do the same.
