Because I'm sitting here wondering how to tell if my brie's bad and I need some cheese experts Brie is literally the only cheese that Mrs Mo doesnt' seem to care for. But her sister? Practically a tractor-wheel size brie at all her gatherings.

The one time I knew my brie was bad it was gray-ish instead of cream color. Hope yours is still good because YUM! Also, DH and I found this amazing chili/fig jam that is *amazing* on brie.

Do the brie eaters also eat that hard, waxy thing on the outside? I saw an article where it was like 50/50 on whether people do that.

I eat the rind on the regular. Brie is good but there are so many other soft cheeses that are superior imo. I had some goat brie awhile back that was simply divine. Saint Angel Triple Crème is worth whatever monies anyone ever wants for it.

Well it smelled weird but it tasted fine so I went for it. The sell-by date was today. And yes, I eat the rind.

One of my favorite cheeses is muenster. I know it's a boring choice, but my sister lived in northern Wisconsin and would bring me muenster from this local dairy that was absolutely delicious.

I like Havarti. (not for grilled cheese, just in general) Last year we ordered a bunch of cheeses and charcuterie for our neighbors and a little for ourselves too. Plain Havarti, Havarti pepper and Havarti Habanero. Yum.
