I know aging is a bitch, but come on, do it with a shred of grace. She really looks terrible, her face is so pumped full of fillers she doesn't even look real.
The outfit I do kind of love and it would have looked amazing on the Madonna from her MDNA era.

In all honesty, I was wondering if she was having the same problem Jerry Lewis had when he was taking steroids and had complications.

I used to have to take Prednisone for health reasons, usually around 60mg and then slow wean off it for weeks. It was the worst. I definitely got the "moon face" that is a symptom of steroid use. However my lips didn't blow up and if I had been 64 I doubt my wrinkles/fine lines would have magically disappeared.
Given her other enhancements of recent years I think she's just desperate the control the aging process. Bonnie Raitt is 73 and looked amazing at the grammy's, and her age. Madonna looks sad and desperate.

It's so bad that I almost feel bad for her, but she's just too desperate and unlikeable. She is desperate and unlikable for so many reasons, but I do feel bad for her. Love her or hate her, she has been a force in music for decades. She is an icon. She has broken some barriers for women in music. It is just sad that instead of becoming a cool older person still breaking barriers she has become a caricature of the aging singer desperately clinging to her youth. I said in another thread that she chases trends instead of starts them. The fact that she had her butt enlarged makes me LOL. I don't know what this latest incarnation is exactly. She looks distorted and ghoulish. The outfit could look really cool on someone else. She's become sad and pathetic and if you'd asked me 20 years ago if this is where she'd be I wouldn't have believed it. |
