they're not even a full year apart in age and were both mega-famous at that point. what power imbalance? she had just as much agency to refuse if she'd wanted to. her younger sister got knocked up at 16 and no one was able to talk her out of going through with it. I think Jamie Lynne had an advantage over Britney in that she could see how her life was going to be wholly mapped out for her by Jamie and Lynne if she didn't do something to jump/tip herself off the treadmill. Maybe Jamie Lynne's pregnancy was planned, maybe it was an accident and she saw the opportunity and ran with it, but either way for all the problems she's had herself she's definitely fared better than Britney has from being able to take some time away. |

On the surface you're right, but I think JT being "the man" combined with her upbringing created an imbalance. I do agree the parents all said, "Oh, hell no!" and that was that. Unfortunately, I don't think Britney gained any real maturity from that point until she had her two boys. |

This is a perfectly normal thing to have happened, but I refuse to give Timberlake any grace. He treated her like shit after that, recording a song about her cheating on him, using her for clout forever. He looks even worse now that we know what they went through together.

Actually, you should never leave your registration or insurance paperwork in your car at all times. Should your car be stolen or broken into, thieves know where you live. It is even more risky when you have a garage door opener in the vehicle. It's completely legal and appropriate to have cell phone pictures or electronic insurance cards. Sad to think about this but it's dangerous for some demographics of people to pull out a cell phone to get those documents. Even after telling the officer you're reaching to get your cell phone. My husband would never. He keeps paper copies and not in his glove compartment but in an area where no one can accuse him of trying to grab a weapon (in his visor). |

Definitely won't deny or dispute that. My husband is law enforcement and POC and we live in an open carry state. He always says were he to be pulled over, hands stay on the wheel until instructed otherwise. Though, he absolutely does not keep documents in the car 24/7. He's an odd ball enough that they come in and out of the car with him every time. |
