kathy honors diana pretty frequently. mimics her style, wears her jewels. i guess it's nice as a remembrance, but i definitely agree with nov that it is branding.

I'm still not used to seeing Charles styled as King. WTF?

I’m just gonna say it. I don’t like the PR photo op with the kid at all and it’s obvious why Kate did it.
She likes being POW and I think she’ll do more work now that everyone is calling her Princess.

I love the ring but to each their own. Margaret had a similar one that was red (a ruby I presume) which I liked as well.
That said, I would have demanded my own damn ring if it were me.

Aside from the ring being indeed ugly, I can't understand why she wears jewelry from Diana at all, it's creepy because everyone is comparing her to her late MIL who is more or less styled a saint. Why is she doing it when she could alternativly just have nice stuff custom made for herself or have her useless husband buy her some.I think that having brand new bling is probably reserved for mistresses. That way you don't have to try and get it back when it's time to trade them in. I actually like the ring, but I agree about the bad juju. I know it's better to reuse and all that but I always side eye when I see engagement/wedding sets for sale on FB. I just don't know why you'd want a wedding ring from a failed marriage. I find royal jewels so interesting. I know there can be a lot of controversy surrounding some of the older piece, but I just think it is cool to be wearing a piece of history. Wearing something that someone maybe 100+ years ago wore. I say that as someone who has nothing of any family value, I guess overall I'm jealous of people who have items from past family members that tells a story of their family. As far as Diana's personal collection, I'm sure Will inherited it all so it makes sense that she wears it. Anything is better than her Avon deal of the month sets. The pieces that were Diana's in her own right (rather than belonging to the crown and loaned out) were split between William and Harry. Meghan has been pictured wearing some of Diana's jewellery but it's mostly the less blingy pieces that she seems to favour.

She likes being POW and I think she’ll do more work now that everyone is calling her Princess. Yes! She is going all out now that she is "Princess" and the change is palpable. She's so much closer to her "goal". Everything she does is 110% calculated. Not just "how does it make the RF look" but the whole end game of being queen. On that note, I think that she just *loves* Diana's ring because time & again it informs that comparison. I certainly think that MM got the better part of that deal, Diana's Cartier tank watch, engagement ring made & designer specifically for her & Harry, etc Margaret Eugenie Zara (Princess Anne's daughter & equestrian) MM (I believe that the band has been altered) Prince Albert proposed to Princess Charlene in 2010 with a bespoke pear-shaped engagement ring. The stunning design, which was reportedly crafted by Parisian jeweller Repossi, includes a massive three-carat, pear-cut diamond flanked by smaller diamonds in triangle arrangements That ring

Are we sure that's a smile? Or an involuntary muscle contraction due to the eyes squinting because of the sun? (She does have the prettiest ring, though)

Princess Charlene was effortlessly elegant in a navy gown as she attended the National Monaco Day Gala with her husband Prince Albert last night. The mother-of-two, 44, looked sensational in a long-sleeved, floor-length dress which she accessorised with a gold clutch bag as she arrived at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo.
