That little face! Serious, friendly, confident... and looking like he's trying to figure out what she brings to the table. He's adorable. This little video of him just popped up on my Facebook Thanks for this, Sarzy! He is adorable. Kate is amazing with children, and just shines around them. She loses the stiffness in her face, especially around the jaw, that she has had to deal with since her marriage whenever she has to speak publicly or with the press present. I'm not knocking her for it - most of us would display some sort of tension if we were, even willingly, thrust upon the world stage. She has come a long way, but around kids she's just a natural. Queen Letizia of Spain is elegant in an off-the-shoulder dress as she joins husband King Felipe VI at a glitzy awards ceremony in Almería www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-11419965/Queen-Letizia-Spain-joins-husband-King-Felipe-VI-glitzy-awards-ceremony-Almer-a.htmlGorgeous, gorgeous couple.

Mike Tindall's apparent breach of royal protocol on last night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! - where he sensationally branded all politicians 'f**kers' to campmates - was 'ill-advised' and 'extremely foolish', a leading royal expert told MailOnline today. The ex-England rugby ace, whose wife is the Princess Royal's daughter Zara, caused a stir after making the outspoken remark while chatting with campmates about the ousting of ex-Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the popular ITV reality TV show. A sunbathing Tindall told comedian Seann Walsh: 'I just think all politicians are f**kers. I mean for them to even have the conversation just because they're all Boris fans that didn't like how Boris was ousted that you won't pick the best person for the job, that just sums politicians up.' Though Mike and Zara do not hold titles, they are working members of the Royal Family and are therefore expected to remain politically neutral in public. Zara, the daughter of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips, and King Charles III's niece, is 20th in line to the throne. Speaking to MailOnline today, royal author Richard Fitzwilliams suggested that Tindall's apparent breach of royal protocol was unwise. He said: 'Mike Tindall has a laddish persona which usually works to his advantage. However, in the jungle he has made extremely embarrassing comments about the time his trousers got ripped in front of Princess Anne. They will haunt him in future articles written about him and Zara, both of them are high achievers. The audience for this reality show is vast, this won't have helped his image. Now he's making ill-advised comments about politicians, when he knows perfectly well royals must be above politics and avoid such comments. Whether or not viewers shorten his stay in the jungle, it does seem that his brain has become overheated in this unusual environment. 'It's not protocol he needs lessons in, it's common sense as he is playing to the gallery in a hugely popular reality series and looking extremely foolish. Tindall is no stranger to controversy. Just a day earlier, he shared an amusing anecdote about how he once tore his trousers and showed his underwear which read 'nibble my nuts' while performing a 'sl*t drop' dance move in front of his mother-in-law.Royal author Angela Levin called the story 'inappropriate' and 'distasteful', adding: 'I think he's lost sense of what's sensible or appropriate. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11434019/Mike-Tindall-claims-just-think-politicians-f-s-Im-Celebrity.html

Aside from the ring being indeed ugly, I can't understand why she wears jewelry from Diana at all, it's creepy because everyone is comparing her to her late MIL who is more or less styled a saint. Why is she doing it when she could alternativly just have nice stuff custom made for herself or have her useless husband buy her some.

A lot of the jewels the women of the royal family wear have been passed down/lent to one another over the years. I find such gestures a nod to those family members in love and remembrance. Same way I wear a few different rings, earrings and bracelets that are from my maternal grandmother’s family. Some pieces my grandmother inherited from her mother and one ring she wore every day. I now wear it every day. Outside of being ugly, Diana’s engagement ring for me has bad juju. I can be a bit superstitious. When R told his mom he was going to propose she offered an engagement ring that she inherited from her aunt. The marriage never happened because the fiancé died before they married- he died in a house fire. R declined the gift of the ring because his mom wore it on a chain each day. He didn’t want to “take” it from her. He wound up inheriting it after his mothers passing and it’s a really beautiful art deco ring. I wore it her funeral as my way to honor her- it was something she obviously cherished and the gesture of offering it to her son(and me) is something I cherish. But the story linked to the piece is sad. A young woman tragically lost her love and she mourned him the rest of her life. R’s son has already “claimed” it for himself when the time comes that it needs a new home.

because she wants to be compared to the sainted Diana as she has styled herself that way because she has nothing else going for herself That's true and kinda sad. Even a woman as (probably) troubled as Charlene of Monaco manages to not wear the jewelry of her dead MIL, who was a favorite of her people, too and died just as tragically as Diana. Because Charlene has her own style!

I actually like the ring, but I agree about the bad juju. I know it's better to reuse and all that but I always side eye when I see engagement/wedding sets for sale on FB. I just don't know why you'd want a wedding ring from a failed marriage.
I find royal jewels so interesting. I know there can be a lot of controversy surrounding some of the older piece, but I just think it is cool to be wearing a piece of history. Wearing something that someone maybe 100+ years ago wore. I say that as someone who has nothing of any family value, I guess overall I'm jealous of people who have items from past family members that tells a story of their family.
As far as Diana's personal collection, I'm sure Will inherited it all so it makes sense that she wears it. Anything is better than her Avon deal of the month sets.
