I don't think it's fair to judge anyone's emotions/reactions or lack there of - especially based on snapshots of time. They have been publicly mourning for a week now - not to mention all the family drama and press BS. I can't imagine how exhausted they all are. I despise her, so I'm going too! Thankyouverymuch Sput + Sarzy too đ The Queen's pony Emma & corgis Sandy and Muick Prince Albert and Princess Charlene The corgis are going to be well turned out for the rest of their lives - given that they are living with a Royal Groomer Andrew.... We were on the beach most of the weekend and because it is past Labor Day, you are allowed to have your dogs on the beach with you. Anyway, there was a beachgoer with a corgi, and that poor little guy was working his tiny legs HARD to get across that huge expanse of sand (the distance to the pavement is REALLY FAR).

I think Kate looks amazing. Her RBF is in keeping with the occasion, and she looks flawless.

The VPL is unfortunate but it's a lovely dress (edit - that was about Jacinda)
Daphodil - I agree, I thought she looked great.

Okay, Nov - please help me out here, because this is way above my British aristocracy pay-grade. You seriously think she could have felt pressured to have sex with the lump of pasty coal now known as the Prince of Wales? I'm not necessarily arguing with you about it, it just seems incomprehensible that an attitude like that could prevail in the Great Britain of 2022. And while I'm on the weirdness of this Royal Group of Grifters, I have a question that has been bothering me for a while, but it's a very difficult and delicate question: When it comes to the conversation Meghan and Harry referenced about Archie's skin color, is there any way the speaker was just wondering and not disdaining what skin tone Archie might have? You know, like if you wonder if someone will have Mom's blue eyes and freckles, or Dad's brown eyes and heavy eyebrows, or maybe incorporate both and have hazel eyes with freckles, etc. Or, "Gee, Susie really has her father's nose and a widow's peak just like her grandmother." Anyone have more in-depth understanding to share? Again, I'm not suggesting and certainly not excusing, I'm just asking. . You need to investigate the message function. âșïž I think Kate looks amazing. Her RBF is in keeping with the occasion, and she looks flawless. Flawless

Damn Kate looks fucking fantastic. Really all the RF women look pretty good here. Meghan does look pregnant though.
I also love Charlotte's little outfit and hat.
Regarding showing emotion, maybe someone can answer me this but aren't they "not allowed" to cry in public?
That is a beautiful pony and of course the doggies are adorable. I'm sure they will be well cared for. The doggies probably were around the queen more on a daily basis so they will probably be missing her too.
Add: Oh fuck. Not that woofer Cholmondeley bitch. Lawd.

Aside from her wedding, this is possibly one of Kate's best looks. Her makeup is perfect. I don't love the dress, but it's very appropriate. I preferred one she wore earlier in the week.

Can I say I am embarrassed that the American first lady put a black ribbon in her hair like a second grader? All these stylish world leaders, and she did a hair bow. Oh well.

Don't feel embarrassed, this is how our previous Prime Minister and his wife turned up! He combed his hair with an egg whisk, as usual, while she turned up as a 'wake-dominatrix'!

Maybe she didn't realise until the last minute that hats were de rigue for a funeral & hadn't brought one? It looks quite stiff so I think its actually supposed to be a very minimalist hat. If it had had a piece of netting attached, fascinator style, then it might have been more obvious.

He may be the worldâs most powerful man but the apparent late arrival of the US president, Joe Biden, and his wife, Jill, was not allowed to disrupt the finely tuned choreography of the late Queenâs funeral.
Rather than being ushered immediately to their seats on their arrival at Westminster Abbey, the first couple, aged 79 and 71, had to be gently told they would need to stand and wait as a procession of George and Victoria Cross-holders went ahead of them down the nave of the abbey. After an awkward period of small talk at the main entrance, as those awarded the highest decorations of military valour went ahead, the Bidens finally followed in the wake of Victoria Cross-holder CSgt Johnson Beharry, pushing the wheelchair of Keith Payne VC, 89.
The US president had been given a dispensation to make his journey to the abbey in âthe Beastâ, a heavily armoured limousine used by US presidents for security reasons, rather than be bussed to the abbey with the other heads of state and government. Camera footage shared on social media showed that the Bidens had made slow progress through central London the previous evening on the way to Buckingham Palace, even being momentarily forced to stop outside a Pret a Manger on Oxford Street. Advertisement
After arriving hand in hand, the Bidens finally sat down in their places in the abbey at 10.05am. The schedule published by Buckingham Palace suggested the 500 invited dignitaries should have been seated between 9.35am and 9.55am.
Perhaps as a consequence of opting out of the buses taking other leaders from the assembly point at Royal Hospital Chelsea, the Bidens were also given seats 14 rows back in the south transept of the abbey.
The US president took his seat behind Andrzej Duda, the president of Poland, and in front of Petr Fiala, the prime minister of the Czech Republic. Sitting to her husbandâs left, Jill Biden sat next to Ignazio Cassis, the president of Switzerland.
The special treatment demanded by the White House was by some way not the most significant diplomatic difficulty facing the earl marshal, the Duke of Norfolk, who was in charge of planning the funeral. World leaders and royalty observe two-minute silence for Queen Elizabeth II â video
While the decision of Saudi Arabiaâs de facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to not attend avoided some damaging headlines, a decision to invite Spainâs disgraced former King Juan Carlos and to then seat him next to his son King Felipe VI and his wife, Queen Letizia, appears likely to make things difficult for the Spanish royal family back home. Felipe, 54, came to the throne when his father abdicated in 2014 amid dwindling popularity. The 84-year-old, who appeared frail and had to lean on an aide, spends most of his time in self-imposed exile in Abu Dhabi following a series of scandals related to his finances that culminated in Felipe stripping him of his annual stipend and renouncing his personal inheritance. There had already been a backlash over Juan Carlosâs attendance at the funeral but the Spanish royal household had been determined to at least not to make it worse by allowing a photograph to emerge of the two kings together.
Gerardo Pisarello, an MP for the Catalan branch of the far-left, anti-austerity Podemos party, tweeted: â[Felipe] says he wants nothing to do with his father; that heâs renounced his inheritance and knew nothing about the fiscal outrages. Then they go and sit together as if nothingâs happened, all while Juan Carlos is investigated in England. Shameful.â Pisarello was referring to a case being made against Juan Carlos by a former lover who has accused him of harassment.
The abbey bore witness to the gathering of royals and world leaders not seen for many decades. Among those attending were Japanâs emperor, Naruhito, who rarely makes overseas visits, and Empress Masako who has been largely absent from public appearances since suffering from what the imperial household agency has described as a âadjustment disorderâ after giving birth to the coupleâs child, Princess Aiko.

It shouldn't be that big of a deal since he had to be in 'the Beast' - and it's not about chest-thumping idiocy, it's to pay respect to a world leader's 70 years of service.
I just thank God we were spared the sight of Donald Trump asserting his importance because can anybody imagine him calmly waiting? No, me either.
