According to sources close to TMZ, Anne is currently in the hospital and intubated. She is expected to live following the ordeal. “Her condition prevents doctors from performing any tests to determine if she was driving under the influence of alcohol,” the outlet adds. Not a doctor, but how would intubation prevent them from drawing blood? I'd assume that they drew her blood for something when she arrived at the ER.

Really, the thing I remember her most for is the Ellen breakup when she was found incoherent wandering through the deser, they said it was a psychotic break so I viewed her as someone with mental issues. I couldn't remember if she was still married or not, and I guess not. She left her husband for co-star James Tupper, had a kid with both guys, then she was with Thomas Jane (another co-star) for a few years and now she supposedly has a new boyfriend. Her sons are 19 and 10.
Who knows what happened here but it does seem intentional, attempted suicide, under the influence or another psychotic break? It sounds like her injuries are quite severe and some burns so who knows if she will survive this. The fact that she had a brother who was a suicide hitting a tree definitely makes me wonder. It's a shame she had to take out somebody's house in the process.

I wonder if that's what she was aiming for and, in her drunken state, missed?

This is the second crash in the last two days in LA where they’ve said the same thing. There was a horrible crash at an intersection where the car just sped through a red light right into cross traffic, cars bursting into flames, killing an entire family and another person. The speeding driver, of course, survived. They said they couldn’t do accurate testing because of the pain medication delivered to her at the scene. You would think they could take a couple vials of blood, prior to administering the pain medication. It seems like it would be mere seconds to do so.

I have a hard time feeling bad for her. She could have killed people.

Bloody hell, that was awful. Her car was like a missile.

^ I saw the video too and read the driver was a 37 y.o. visiting nurse from Houston. She's been charged with vehicular manslaughter and gross negligence. I think someone on tv said she had just had a fight with her boyfriend but who knows. 6 people dead and she only suffered "moderate" injuries.

It looked like she was trying to get away from TMZ. Probably because she had vodka in her car? They were obviously on her for something, and then she took off and crashed.

What in Photoshop hell is that family portrait below??? You know what is incredibly ironic? Heche is in some movie that has been coming on cable frequently, called "13 Minutes". It's about a bunch of people, including various families, that are trying to survive a level 5 tornado. I didn't watch every minute of it, but in the movie, Heche has an uber masculine husband (Trace Adkins) and a son who is in the closet. At some point in the film, under pressure from the boyfriend, the son basically reveals to Heche and Adkins that he is gay. I'm not sure what happened after that in the relationship (because Tornado), but at the very end of the movie, the son tries to approach the mom (Heche) and she basically says out loud to him "I have no son." It is so cold and effed up. I can't remember if it was because he was gay or something else he did. But it's like the last 30 seconds of the movie and is an incredibly cold ending. WTF?

^ It looks a bit like they've used the app Remini on that photo. It works well sometimes but it can produce some funny results.

That photo really brings out the garbage dad's wonk eye. The thing is, she held it together enough to bring liquor in the car and she actually backed up pretty well in the getaway video and she's driving in a completely straight, unwavering line the whole way. I mean, maybe she thought she was going to drive her car into a tree and end it, but there are millions of other trees in other parts of California that she could have driven into and not even hurt the tree, much less destroy someone's home and possibly kill other people. I have no idea what was going through her mind, but it seems to me that if suicide was the plan, she might have thought she was going to die and was going to take anyone in her way with her. I mean, that is hugely speculative, but I'm just going through possibilities in my head. She may just have simply been in a fugue state and won't remember any of it. As for the other crash, I'm seriously wondering if maybe cars that are able to go 140mph/225kph should be somehow, I don't know...like maybe you need a special license to drive them like you would for motorcycles or semis? Or some kind of braking system based on gps? I just saw a repair truck the other day that had a sticker saying their speed was monitored by gps. I know there would be too much "mah car, my speeeed" arguments made by imbeciles, and I don't like excessive rules, but the US has proven time and again that they cannot handle the responsibility of guns and fast cars. I mean, I hope they put that piece of shit who might have been arguing with her boyfriend and murdered six people under the jail, but even if she'd been going 30, it would have been disastrous, but the car wouldn't have burst into flames and other people might have at least 1% chance of survival. She killed an entire family. I just can't understand. edit People

What's kind of crazy is that Lynn chick looks a little bit like she could play a younger version of Anne Heche in a biopic about Anne Heche.
I remember her from her days on Another World. Then for having a breakdown after the Ellen break up. Then for marrying some guy with an unfortunate name and having some unfortunate-named kids. Then I remember seeing her on the TV show "Hung". Oh, and I do remember her in the psycho remake. And "If These Walls Could Talk" (the first one centered around abortion).

Ok, maybe I'm a crabby old lady but hear me out. So this Lynne woman has a gofundme at $45k presently. I am not saying she did not suffer a terrible loss. But are you telling me she didn't have any homeowners insurance? That insurance should pay for her additonal living expenses (putting her up in a hotel or a short term rental and taking care of other out of pocket things she might endure). So why does she need an additional $45k gofundme? I have no problem with people being made whole after an incident, but not sure I agree with a $45k bonus.
