No damn way are the Bidens flying commercial - it's just not going to happen. This all sounds like a logistical and security nightmare. I'll watch it from home thank you very much. All past heads of state in the US are allowed a security detail etc. Jimmy Carter has apparently always flown commercial with his security. It can be done. as former presidents, sure, but not while in office. or maybe it was allowed back when carter was president but it couldn't happen now.

Apparently Albo (Anthony Albanese, the recently elected Prime Minister of Australia) or the Governor-General or both didn't want to share a RAAF flight to London with the other, so RAAF were organising two separate private jets to take the head of government and head of state to London. Fuck's sake. Stick them and spouses and security on the next commercial flight to London, or make them share the same jet. It is INSANE the expense and carbon impact that is expected the world to pay for. A sitting US President does not fly commercial and hasn't since FDR back in 1933. It would an absolute logistics nightmare from a security point of view. (Nixon did once fly commercial during his term.)

Charles and Camilla are so in sync that they are mirror imaging each other in the car with their floating hands. Meghan has been looking very orange lately. I wonder if they still have some clothes at Frogmore or if there has been a scramble to get appropriate mourning clothes behind the scenes.

I don't know about Meghan having that many different black outfits on a moment's notice, and I kinda hate to say it, but both Kate and Meghan have looked nice in black from what I've seen so far. Wish they were wearing it under different circumstances, though. I mean, you guys know what I mean.
Does anyone know what kind of hearse that is? I assume it's made specially for the royal family? I've never seen anything like that before and I'm so ridiculous, I think I've been half imagining this tour has been taking place with a horse-drawn carriage. Don't mind me, I sometimes live outside the century.

I thought I read somewhere years ago that the royals always traveled with a number of black clothes, just in case there was a death and they needed to look appropriate when flying/arriving home. Given the Queens ago and likely known deteriorating health I imagine everyone in the RF had a whole slew of funeral wear ready to go.

Because Victoria gets a day off anyway for the Grand Final Parade, so the rest of us have to suffer - unless of course the mighty Bloods win their PF, then I'll be watching the Parade and cheering with gusto. I've already put in for Friday off regardless, so I'll either be celebrating or sulking over a 4 day weekend.

We get Monday 19th. My team wanted to know what was happening so I took the unilateral decision that everyone is having the day off. They have worked really hard so far this year.
