King Charles III's sons Prince William and Harry and their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have all appeared at Windsor Castle to inspect the sea of floral tributes laid outside the gates of the Berkshire estate in tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

I think Lady Louise looks the most like a young Liz.

Maybe it's just me, but Harry and Meg look like a couple genuinely into one another.

While Will and Kate look like co-workers/business associates.

There was this one pic of the foursome where Kate and William were walking about five feet apart. For two people concerned about optics that seems to happen a lot. I do think they are basically business associates though.

I feel for Kate. I'd hate to be in a situation where I was duty bound to stick it out with a man who had so little regard for me and both our stations.  All to stick his dick in some strange.  Some ugly strange, at that.

Meghan and Harry appear deeply in love.

Will and Kate have been together for a long time and I think it impacts how they interact with each other. I do think they love each other too.

Will and Kate seem to tolerate one another out of necessity. I'm sure there was once love. But obviously not anymore.

I know plenty of couples together for twice as long (as those two have been) who are still obviously in love.  So I don't think it's time together.  But given Bill's cheating, it's not a shock.

They look like a real family that is grieving.  Everyone's emotions came out which they rarely do. The older grandchildren will really miss her.  Her children looked wrecked as expected. That's a long time to have a mother or a parent.  My friend's mother passed away recently at 97 and he's 54. He said of course he expected it but it hit so hard.


Princess Beatrice will take on new role following death of the Queen.

The death of Queen Elizabeth II has caused a shift within the Royal Family where almost everyone’s roles are changing.

Princess Beatrice is now expected to take on a brand new role within the Royal Family known as the counsellor of state.
 
This means the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson could step in for King Charles III if necessary.

The new position means Beatrice would be authorised to carry out the official duties of the King if called upon to, according to the Royal Family website.

These duties include attending Privy Council meetings, signing routine documents and receiving the credentials of new ambassadors to the UK.

But some roles she will be prohibited from carrying out, including Commonwealth matters, appointing prime ministers or dissolving Parliament – unless instructed to do so by Charles.

Charles, William, Harry and Andrew, all held the position before the death of the Queen and would perform her duties if she was unable to ‘due to illness or absence abroad’.

These four were previously the top people in line of succession over the age of 21.

Now Charles is King, Beatrice is ninth in line to the throne.

I saw this too. Sums it up.

I know it will be excused away with things like the length of the relationship and even "they're British" but yeah, it's pretty damned obvious. They're not even trying to fake it either. Which I actually kind of respect, in a way. But it makes me pity them. Well...Kate, anyway. Will had a good thing (he was allowed to marry the woman of his choosing, a luxury not afforded his dad) and he ruined it because he's a selfish prick.
