The bottom ruffle on Kate's dress, ugh. Also, her bewbs are too big and in the wrong location. They'd have been better off with this casual pose in their more casual clothes to avoid looking so haughty.

I hate the portrait of will and Kate. I think the artist’s style/aesthetic is pretty cheesy.
Re: bea’s husband, don’t know much about him but I think it you’re still engaged after having a kid with someone it kind of feels like they got engaged out of obligation because she got knocked up and sorry but a kid isn’t reason enough to marry someone if you wouldn’t marry them if there were no kid… you can be an involved parent without being married, this isn’t the 1950s. so I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because frankly they look super happy together.

They were engaged for five years. That was long before the kid. So obviously the child was not the reason for the engagement.
Perhaps the child affected the relationship and things would have happened as they did regardless of whether or not the person he left his fiancee/child's mother for happened to be the granddaughter of the Queen of England.
Whatever the case, the affair started between Bea and him while he was still engaged to the mother of his child AND living with her.
It doesn't have to be the 1950's for me to side eye this. Just don't pretend like this is some grand love story because they're smiling now. I can't stand when people try to rewrite history.

Well, Prince of Wales was married when he had an affair with Cammy; William was married when he was tuping Rose his mates wife; Andy got caught in the martial bed with another man. It's not like fidelity runs in the family.....

Yep, but Camilla was already it for him, he just couldn't be with her. Things might have been much different if it weren't for a bunch of shit that doesn't even matter today. But that's exactly why that whole fairytale of Charles and Di that they sold the world was a giant sham. Charles was in love with someone else. William is just a bored, entitled prick. And don't even get me started on Andy. He'll fuck anything with a pulse. But at least I think he and Fergs had an understanding about this. Not sure she condones the child fucking though.
As for Bea situation...
My opinion: Her man's an opportunist and shady as a mofo. She settled for less.
I know I bag on her for looking like her shitty dad in a red wig, but even I think she could have done better than this.

The first time I saw the portrait on my phone, I thought it was literally some kind of joke I didn't get then of course realized it was for real. It looks like a prop from an historical drama. Cheesy and cartoonish. As for Bea...I sort of remember the cheating, but I feel like I want to give her a pass for at least the time being. I can't imagine what I would have done if I had been stuck with those two as parents and with that family and being raised to be important but not TOO important. She seems happier and less shiftless now. As for her husband's former fiance, if they were engaged for five years, maybe she knew he was a cheater or becoming increasingly disinterested in her and the baby was a last ditch effort on her part to keep him? Anyway, I never thought of this relationship with Bea as a great love story, or gave it much thought at all, it's just that she seems more settled and at ease with herself.

either way, being engaged for 5 years gets the side eye from me. Maybe he’s an opportunist, or maybe after being engaged for 5 years and even with a kid it still wasn’t right and it’s better to split up than stay in something out of a sense of obligation and social convention. *shrugs* My brother and his ex were together 7 years. The last 4 they were basically treading water and they loved each other but weren’t in love, which he was only able to acknowledge after the fact. At the end they got engaged (basically caved to social pressure from friends and family on both sides telling them to get on with it since they were both in their 30s) and she broke up with him after a few months. Within 6 months he was living with his now girlfriend of two years in a much happier and better relationship that actually makes sense and has a future. Sometimes people stay together out of habit or because it’s the first serious relationship they’ve ever known but never get married because even subconsciously they sense it’s not right, and they don’t bite the bullet and break up because they’re not unhappy per se or don’t want to be alone, and it takes someone else to shake them out of it or give them the courage to leave. If his ex was waiting to get married it sucks for her and it’s kind of a cowardly thing to do to someone but I don’t think it makes him fundamentally shady or evil, just human and sometimes weak and/or immature. I guess I just don’t believe in viewing all cheating as the same cardinal sin/taboo, not unless people do it serially. And if this dude turns out to be that, I’ll gladly admit I was wrong but for now I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt.

The Queen looked ecstatic as she made an unexpected return to work today after she travelled to Scotland for her first public duties since the Platinum Jubilee. Her Majesty is in Edinburgh with members of her family for their traditional week of events north of the border including meeting with Nicola Sturgeon. The 96-year-old, who has cut back on public engagements due to mobility issues, was all smiles as she took part in the historic Ceremony of the Keys - the traditional opener to Holyrood week for the Royal Family. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10956701/The-Queen-96-travels-Scotland-ceremony-keys-Holyrood.html

Trafficed yes, age-wise legal. I still think that he paid her off due to his affair with Epstein & she knew that he would never come out publically - or not while his mother is alive. I agree about Bea's hubby being semi-shady but she looks happier than she ever has before.

Five years and a kid and still just shacking up gets the side eye from me too. But I understand she's (the ex/babymama) got a career/business of her own so she probably didn't need to be getting legally entangled to a shady dude anyway.
Bea settling for an opportunistic cheater probably did this chick a favor.
I think Bea would be ecstatic to be married and having kids with any dude who had adequate qualifications on paper to be married to her and who treated her halfway decent. Especially this early in the game.
Memaw looks well rested and happy. Scaling back the duties agrees with her.

The photographer in question (Terry Harris) has taken pictures of William and family before. I think he handled it fine.
