I don't know how to insert a video from Twitter, but the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, welcomed them, hoped they had a wonderful first time visit, but flat out said Jamaica was moving on to becoming a republic. Of course, it was very awkward, but what struck me was watching William's face get red as he stood there listening to the PM of the country basically say, "Hey, have a great trip, but you aren't ever going to be my king, so don't let the screen door hit you on your way out." I'm anti-monarchy, so this tickles me pink. |

  So Twitter is in a bit of a stir. The Jamaica Labour Party, the party currently in power, is the conservative, traditional party. Their color is green. The People's National Party, which is Social Democrates, has a color of... orange. Yap, yap, yap on Twitter, of course, saying that Kate is purposely wearing the Opposition Party's colors as a snub to the JLP, but that doesn't make sense unless you include Kate also purposely wearing green and far from snubbing anyone has been attempting to be inclusive. You know, I'm disenchanted with the British Monarchy, but there is enough actual shite they have done, are doing, and will continue to do. Seems stupid to 'diss' every move any of them make. (Except Andrew. Andrew's just straight-up cat shit.) If I wasn't so appalled and affronted by the racism and hatred directed at Meghan, I'd be down for some eye-rolling and major side-eyeing of some of her words/actions. But when the Daily Mail can turn around hundreds of slavery for royal profit into a problem caused by one uppity black girl...  |

^ I agree, pointlessly picking at every move is stupid. Some people on Twitter diss every move everyone makes, nobody is free to do or say anything it seems.  It's quite a cesspit a lot of the time. |
