Bitch please. You joined to compete with your daughter. Yep. She wants in on the attention. And her playing so innocent with the bathing suit stuff. Suuuuuureeeee....she must think everyone is stupid if she thinks anyone believes that.

Now, I know we are talking about Denise Richards and I don't love the perception of competition with the daughter and such ... BUT
<begin unrelated monologue about my thoughts on OnlyFans> I like the concept of OnlyFans. If it were only sex work (it's not but that's what it's primarily known for), it's a pretty darned safe approach for sex workers. I know a mountain of women who stripped and did porn and sold sexual services who also had to deal with a lot of abuse and fear that came along with the work. The idea that you own your own content and make money off it is also a valid thing - maybe not as valid a thing for someone like Richards who already has so much free content out there, but it's a business model I support and value as an independent artist. Social media has really trained us all to look at images and words as things that are simply free and pass by in our feeds, but those things are created by someone and if they want to get on a platform to sell what they create in lieu of giving it away .. I dig it. </end monologue>

From what I've read, the platform's architecture and policy give the people who are on there more autonomy and access to the money that comes in. I know people can be critical of choosing to do this for a living, but I don't think you can be critical of something that gives them more of their fair share of the money for it.

I don't have any issues with onlyfans as a platform, per se. i also think that sex work is always going to exist, regardless of how people feel about it, and ultimately it's not about how people feel about it. even if you don't like it (and let's face it, there's a lot not to like and it's not like everyone engaging in sex work is doing so for the right reasons), you should still agree that the important thing is that sex workers are safe and are fairly compensated for their work and aren't being exploited. that said, i absolutely think this is denise richards competing against her daughter, and it's gross, and totally unsurprising and you could probably write a bible size tome on the unhealthy dynamics in that family and those poor kids never had a chance.

^Everything up there. All that.
I do know someone who does not have to do Only Fans, but does, and is having the time of their life. And yes, it is lucrative for them. And this might be an unpopular point, but some people really do OF to explore their sexual expression. I don't know that most people would want to do that, but it has its appeal for others. On the other hand, as mentioned, I think this is a career choice that does tend to attract people for the wrong reasons. I hope that OF itself is a safer space for people to do this, regardless of the reason why...it eliminates pimps, getting groped by strangers, and all that kind of stuff.
Also agree about the family dynamic. It's fucked up and I'm sure we only know a small fraction of it. Denise is ridiculous for joining. I was stupid for thinking that she would just step back and let her daughter do her own thing. There is even something seedy about the roundabout way she discusses bikini pics on Instagram, because it's glaringly obvious that most people do not get paid just for posting a pic of themselves in a bathing suit unless they're an influencer or celebrity, nor do they expect to be paid. It would be less gross to me if Denise just said, "Hey, I want to get paid for my pics" instead of hinting at it like it's some naughty little secret.
