uninstalling cortana from a windows 10 machine

wondering if anyone here knows how to uninstall cortana from windows 10

getting in the way a bit now

I just asked my super geeky tech friend and he said 'you know you can just google that' and then he sent me this link: www.groovypost.com/howto/uninstall-cortana-from-windows-10/

And that's why I ask him, because he will fuss and then give me a link.

I need a super techy friend like yours

that, or find a tech website I can join.. my knolledge of computers just about stretches to turning them on

google is a good friend to you, really, in these cases. Most questions you're going to come up with can likely be found out there. I'm surrounded by techy friends and am moderately techy myself and we all use google fairly religiously to address things like this.
