WHAT.The.FUCK.
I hadn't really planned on leaving twitter, joined after the Trump election. I still follow some political stuff, but also just random people I've run across--trivia, music, dog people, cat people. It's not like I have a huge following, or follow that much but the content in my feed isn't right wing cesspool because I don't follow anyone like that. There are a handful of people I talk to who I would miss if it all goes to hell.
Musk really didn't think this one through, did he?

I feel like that cat story is false. No evidence anywhere of it apart from those screenshots which could be fake.

The fuckery continues. He's going to have no experienced staff left soon.  Meanwhile, Eric Froenhoefer, the fired developer, has been swamped with invitations to meet for a chat from multiple big tech companies.  Other staff are also reportedly getting fired for expressing free speech on the Musky "free speech" platform and in company channels.  Musk is taking all of this as maturely as you would expect someone with skin as thin as soggy tissue paper would.   |

Now he's telling him twitter employees they need to buckle down and work 80+ hours a week, while not getting any overtime pay. Who would do that?
My husband is seriously wanting to sell our Tesla b/c he doesn't want to be associated with this clown.

There's no reason to keep a tesla, plenty of other companies have good EVs now. I'm eyeballing the Dodge Hornet that comes out next year.

There's a polestar in our neighborhood, it's pretty nice looking. The Rivian truck is actually really nice to look at. Tesla is just so easy. We have the model 3 long range and it's so great. Elon is just such an douche it's hard to want to support him any longer.
