Ha, I'm a total nobody on twitter and I'm not saying a word. I don't want the Depp beehive after me. It's frickin' insane. Yeah, I use my twitter to keep in touch with RL people so there's no way I'm throwing myself into the fray over there. I can't change their minds or even politely ask them to think of looking at both sides and I don't negotiate with trolls. I might have liked a comment here or there on people's locked accounts (but probably not), but I have not interacted with anyone. Speaking of which, you don’t follow me on Twitter missy.

As to whether Depp threw a wine bottle or tossed it, it probably doesn't matter much because legal analysts were discussing just this point and saying that Depp was denying that he was "abusive", which takes many forms, not just hurling glass bottles at people. In addition, it also would not matter if there were times that Heard was also abusive because the basis of the suit is not her behavior. Depp has three counts to win or lose on: The print edition of AH's op-ed, the online edition of the op-ed, & her quote tweet of the op-ed. It's my understanding that before her quote tweet, the statute of limitation had run out on defamation regarding the op-ed, & her quote tweet basically restarted it, allowing him to sue. I think he's likely to lose on the print edition count, because abuse can emotional & he was clearly emotionally abusive, even if he wasn't physically abusive. I'd say he would be unlikely to win the online edition count, except that a few times in the trial a witness or AH indicated that the sexual abuse headline was important to her & she pushed back on suggestions to remove JD identifying details. It seemed like from the opening statements that they would be trying to claim that the sexual violence aspect was a different boyfriend, but she's doubled down on it throughout the trial. It's not convincing, though, & the physical violence allegations are also not supported by the evidence. I think JD will definitely win on the quote tweet count, since she totally quote tweeted it with "Today I published this op-ed..." etc. with the "I spoke up against sexual violence" headline right there.

My verdict is (imho) he was/is violent and abusive. That's been proven by video, texts, testimony from witnesses & his own behavior in court. I view this court case as a form of abuse.
He comes across as having no concept or awareness of being a different person whilst under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

The DailyBeast has an Op Ed (https://www.thedailybeast.com/amber-heard-witnesses-made-waves-but-will-johnny-depp-recover-in-defamation-trial?ref=home) from yesterday about Depp's behavior during and after a film that Heard was making with Billy Bob Thornton. Depp was insistent that there be no nudity from Heard in the film, and somehow he got the mistaken impression that the producers had pressured her to do it anyway and that she went along with it. Which apparently was untrue. But it was his reaction to it that was the subject of testimony. Here is a passage from the article:

I should probably have said JD got to be with Ellen B in her prime, but.... Ellen B is ten years older than Johnny Depp and could probably STILL put it on a dude way better than Johnny could probably now manage with a woman even if you got him sober. I totally agree. This is one of the few times that Mrs Mo and I disagreed on someone. When she saw Barkin's taped testimony, Mrs Mo said, "OMG, what happened to Ellen Barkin?" I looked, and it appeared that Barkin wasn't wearing makeup, but I thought she looked pretty good. Then, I found out she's 68 -- for that age, I think she looks fantastic. Ellen Barkin looks good for any age, and fantastic *especially* given her age. And I just don't understand how people can gloss over the fact that anyone throwing bottles is still violent and abusive even if it didn't hit anyone. This blind Depp love is incredibly disturbing and GROSS. Just like the Trumptards. Turning a willfully blind eye to the obvious, for stupid reasons.

It's very weird. I see it on reddit and I can't even open those threads. I'm of the opinion that they were mutually abusive towards each other. I'm not a psychologist so I can't analyze if her behavior was in response to his own or not.
The blind Depp love and the crazy love for his lawyer is beyond creepy.

Yes, time to wrap it up.
But since JD is paying top dollar to put on this show perhaps he wants it to go on a little longer

When is the trial due to wrap up? The judge is requiring it be wrapped up by Memorial Day.
She gave each side a certain number of hours to present and there is a countdown clock for each of them in the courtroom.
Closing arguments are expected Friday, May 27

Funny (not) how every.single.move of JD’s attack got coverage but there is so much less coverage for AH’s defence

She was so gorgeous in such a different but super sexy way (hello Big Easy, I'm looking at you). I'm glad she walked away from all that - she does look great especially considering how bad she looked after her procedures.
