Hayden Panettiere is “OK” after she and on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson brawled with patrons at the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles. The “Heroes” alum’s rep told People the duo’s version of Thursday night’s events, in which Hickerson got into a fight after criticizing an unknown individual for tipping poorly. “While in the restaurant of the Sunset Marquis, Brian Hickerson, who happened to be with Hayden, made a comment to an individual about leaving the waitress a poor tip,” the rep, trying to play down Panettiere’s relationship with Hickerson, said in a statement. “That same individual, along with the group he was with, began badgering and shoving Brian, at which point security pushed everyone outside,” the statement continued. “Brian was attacked by the group, as was Hayden, who in her best effort tried to diffuse the situation.” The rep claimed the former “Nashville” star was “refused the opportunity” to give a statement to police because she was “escorted back inside” the hotel. “She is OK,” the statement concluded. The rep did not speak to how Hickerson is doing. Video obtained by TMZ showed Panettiere, 32, and Hickerson in a fisticuffs with people outside of the hotel after the group was kicked out. At one point, the actress was allegedly overheard screaming, “Brian, jail,” seemingly to remind him that he is on probation after being arrested multiple times for acts of domestic violence against her. Hickerson served jail time last year after pleading no contest to two felony counts of injuring a spouse or girlfriend, which was Panettiere. The judge also sentenced him to four years of probation and ordered him to attend 52 domestic violence classes and pay a $500 fee. He additionally received a five-year restraining order that was supposed to bar him from going near Panettiere, but neither of them respected it. Hickerson previously told E! Of course he never did anything wrong.
She needs to get more survivor help but given that her father was an abuser, she (unfortunately) will see this as “normal”.

Oh, man, this video is pretty freaking amazing. Here is my informal breakdown, by timestamp:
0:00 starts outside the restaurant. The two parties are already separated. Hayden and Brian on the left. The other combatants on the right, being dragged off.
0:04 Brian taunting other party, saying, "Take your bitch ass home! Go home!" And pointing.
0:10 Brian starts advancing on other people. Hayden and security guy trying to hold him back.
0:17 Guy from other party is shouting "We're trying to leave! We're trying to f*cking leave!"
0:30 Hayden is somehow now out farther, threatening the other people saying, "I will f*cking [garbled] your ass!" While security holds her back.
0:37 Scene now changes to the parking lot, and this is where things really get good!
0:38 Woman on right (in black) is telling Brian (on left in white t and white shorts) to "Back up! Back the f*ck up!" Brian does not look like he is receptive to that suggestion! Because:
0:48 Brian makes an end around security and rushes the other people.
0:52 Some previously unseen dude in a orange-brown leather jacket rushes Brian and is taking wild swings at him. Which is not a great idea! Because Brian is about 6 inches taller at least!
1:00 Brian, brown leather jacket dude, and Hayden among others, fall to the ground in a cluster.
1:02 Some tall dude in a black leather rushes in and starts punching Brian in the ribs and you can here some really rhythmic percussion - "whomp whomp whomp whomp"
1:04 Security guy throws black leather guy off the pile and then works on the rest of the pile
1:06 Another guy in glasses who gets pushed off shouts "Don't throw me around! Look at this f*cking asshole!" Which I think is a reference to Brian, who is lying on the ground with brown leather guy in a headlock.
1:12 And Hayden is sitting on the ground, restraining brown leather guy with a clump of his hair in her hands.
1:14-1:50 - lots of grabbling and women shouting as people try to separate the two. Hayden is up and down in the pile again at several points.
1:50 Brian gets dragged off of brown leather guy finally, but as brown leather guy gets up, he goes back down again! Because Hayden has grabbed him around the ankles!
2:05 Just when things look like they have been separated, Brian, on the left, lunges toward the right and says, "I'm reading for round f*cking two!" Hayden, looking unsteady on her platform shoes, seems to be trying to talk some sense into Brian.
2:15 The tall guy in glasses is shouting to security "He's going to follow us! He [garbled]."
2:25 A highly amused bald security guy is walking Hayden away from the mess.
2:29 Hayden seems to be saying to camera person who videoed whole thing, "I know, I'm sorry, I tried. We all tried." Camera person says, "White boy's gonna get arrested." Which is weird because they were ALL white boys.
2:34 Camera person says something unclear and Hayden turns and says "Don't ever f*cking talk about him." A couple seconds later she says "I'm sorry" again, to I think, the security dude.

He says “he already did!!” As in “he’s going to follow us “ (no he’s not) “ he already did!!!”
I hope that the police revoke Brian arseholes bail as it is patently clear that he is out of control & the aggressor.
When he goes back to jail maybe PH can get some more help.

^^^ Yes. It makes me actually believe the whole "Him" revelations on CDAN. She's a mess.
While reading this and Mo's timeline (Damn, Mo! That was impressive!) I kept hoping her little girl, while out of Ukraine, was safe somewhere that wasn't with her mother. Hayden is just so obviously a product of childhood trauma, emotional, physical, and undoubtedly sexual abuse. Heartbreaking.

Oh for fucks sake. These are grown ass adults, not children.
Where I live the cops would just round up and arrest the lot of them and they'd all be locked up in the respective sex segregated drunk tank(s) to sleep it off til they made bail the next day.
And then unless repeat offenders probably go court, receive a fine and mandated alcohol awareness classes. This sounds like I know from personal experience and I sort of do, but only because it's happened to people I have been friends/acquaintances/coworkers with. Not me personally.
I wonder if this is how it goes down for semi-famous folks like Hayden and her toxic fuckboy? Or do they just get out of things like this?

i know, it's just so frustrating that even with all her fame and privilege she hasn't been able to break that cycle. it's horrible to say but at least her daughter isn't with her, being raised around all that.

I heard someone say about KK that even with all her money etc she is still getting harassed & threatened by her ex. I know nothing about her ex-fiancé other than he’s very tall & Ukranian. but…. my head says that he could be more of the same because a) her ex and b) he’s Eastern European & (gross generalisation coming up) in my experience the eastern bloc countries are some of the most sexist which I find weird given that the women are equal or better jobs (or did). |
