This Chromecast streaming device from Walmart that only cost $21. This semester, our daughter moved into a dorm suite with three other women. And she brought one of our old TV's with her. The problem is that it is not a "smart TV". And there is no cable hookup in the dorm. So, the first week, it just sat their in the common room between the two bedrooms, not being used for anything. On Sunday, I went out with our daughter and bought this thing at Walmart. We took it home, and I had her put it together and configure it to set up on one of our TV's at home. That worked out. Then, I had her disconnect it, put it in a bag and take it to her dorm with her. Within an hour of being dropped off, she texted us to say, she had already set the device to connect to the school's wifi and was watching streaming programming. I'm really happy for her. And the thing has voice recognition! For $21! Wow. www.walmart.com/ip/onn-Android-TV-4K-UHD-Streaming-Device-with-Voice-Remote-Control-HDMI-Cable/636597403?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&&adid=22222222227000000000&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=42423897272&wl4=pla-51320962143&wl5=9007848&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=online&wl12=636597403&veh=sem&gclid=Cj0KCQjwguGYBhDRARIsAHgRm4_aW1wcf9A16qo_g95KxuINXT9py7pIf9UpAf2b1mfRlZoviOZdlSEaAjnSEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

i took a whole day to go shopping when i was in new york for labour day weekend and finally buy work clothes now that we're going back to the office, meetings and work travel more often. my work wardrobe was tired, to say the least. got these pants: top: which looks weird in this photo, but really flattering when tucked into pants like this: silk top in a dark rust colour: dress that's cut kind of like a silky 80s trench coat: here it is in blue where you can see the sort of trench detail in back : and more casual obviously but i got these pants in a blue that's not on the website. i'd already bought them about a month ago in this kind of ochre colour that i love and i wear them all the time so got a second pair in a different colour.

This should make you vacuum hos excited. I got the Shark Rotator Professional Lift-Away. I like it a lot so far. I usually won't spend a lot on vacuums because they die so quick anyway, but this one really works well. Its especially great for cat hair.

Unfortunately you have to push it yourself, though I would have happily paid 100x more for it if it had come with a bitch to push it.

Did someone say vacuum ho? I googled that shit as soon as Grey's posted it (or I read it). Thank god it's just a regular vacuum. Because this ho would probably buy it.

I had a meeting with my boss at a coffee shop on an outlet park so just happened to pop in to M&S on the way out & bought some soft summer cargo-type trousers (pants to you!) I got this soft green + navy. I hate trying to buy pants being a pear-shape as they don't fit on the legs + these are great - I did buy them 2 sizes too big TBH though. Might need to take the waist in. I just text my friend & she has already got some too! 😂 I got a t-shirt summer dress in cobalt blue + a pair of dark indigo "magic" (lots of lycra) jeans.

Love those pants errr trousers! I bought 3 pair of joggers in a really soft material--gray, navy and black. The black ones have the cargo pockets and I plan to wear them all summer.

just bought this baby. it took me almost 6 months to buy a blender because i've been mourning my vitamix which aren't available here unless you buy the commercial kind and i'm not that crazy. (had to sell or leave behind all my 110v appliances when i moved, peru is on 220v). did a ton of research and this is basically the closest i can find here. got it today and made soup. tomorrow i'll try a smoothie with frozen fruit and see how it does with that. it's certainly prettier than the vitamix and seems really well made, which makes sense for a german brand.

bumping this thread because i bought another appliance lol after years of coveting it at my stylist's and at a friend's who i sometimes stay with in new york, i finally caved and bought my own dyson supersonic. i got the silver and copper one. i held off for years because it feels ridiculously indulgent to spend this much money on a dryer but now that i have it, i wish i'd gotten it sooner. i wash my hair daily, blow dry it most days, and it's one of my most hated chores. with this, i can do a basic dry in under 5 minutes without using high heat because the power of this thing is insane, truly unlike any other dryer i've ever used or had a stylist use in a salon. and it's lightweight.

^^^^ it's seriously worth it if you dry your hair all the time. it's been a few weeks now and i'm still enamoured, it's made hair drying so much less tedious and time consuming.
