A pair of not Converse but look like Converse black high tops. My Alt-Berg para boots need resoling (resoling is going to cost nearly £80 if I get it done by A-B so it'll have to wait but it's still cheaper than a new pair at £220+) so I decided to dig out my old Converse to wear. I don't know what's happened to them, but they hardly fit anymore! They were just about wearable to get into town but my toes were really pinched so as soon as I'd got the knockoffs I was straight into the nearest ladies loo to switch out. It's odd but I feel a bit guilty about spending £20 on some cheap footwear. I love spending money on other people but hate spending on myself. Having said that, I'm building up a collection of fun but slightly strange cat t-shirts and I'm getting mighty tempted by one with this design.

I love those cat shirts, but especially the vampurr one - I'm all about pictures of cats in weird situations. I have a mousepad of a cat DJ spinning a pizza in outer space, it never fails to make me smile.

I just spent a fortune on plants. I had a voucher for David Austin Roses (specialist rose grower) and also bought some "in fill" plants
Sept'd Isle
Lady of Shalott - in memorial for my dog Holly. Apparently this has crazy thorns, so is still a guard-dog! Also it's a very similar colour to my ginger baby.
Summer Song
I loved the colour

OMG Those are so beautiful ! (totally gonna use them as references for future desings XD)
Plants are so expensive it's crazy, it's the same kind of things as nice towels, bedsheets, and other things you never really consider as a kid, only to discover when you're an adult that they cost an arm and a leg XD

I spent the afternoon putting my tent up (like this).
99% of our plants come from NL so prices have gone up due to Brexit & fuel costs. I must have got 10 decent size plants and 3-4 small ones that were discounted to £0 coz they are lovely there.

i managed to do a bit of shopping in paris. it was the first day of sales, i couldn't resist. got these sandals: and i even had the patience to try on bras. it was nice to be in department stores that actually had a ton of stuff in stock, instead of the shitty shopping in DC where even nordstrom only has a tiny selection and anything else you have to get online and i don't want to order 30 bras only to end up returning 28 of them, i want to try them on. found a few chantal thomass at 50% off which made me very happy. so well made and sturdy but still sexy.

The sandals are SO cute (looks like Minelli ?) Chantal Thomass is my favourite brand for underwear ... well, it actually is the ONLY brand I buy, their bras are perfect for my bust shape and I've always liked their "garconne" designs (masculine-feminine designs) ps: Some of my Chantal Thomass are over 10 years old and still great, and still elastic. I do hand wash them but the quality is there.

^^^ thanks, pixie. the sandals are bocage. i agree about chantal thomass. their bras last forever (and i wash all my bras by hand but even still a lot of other brands fall apart after a while) and i also have a pair of thigh high hose, with a seam up the back of the leg, very retro sexy, that i also got well over 10 years ago and the elastic is still super sturdy and there isn't a single run in them. i wash them by hand but still. it's just really good quality like you can really only find in europe.

I love the portal to the cat dimension shirt - did you get that one? kittylady no1novice those are the exact shades of roses I love. The one you planted in memory of Holly is my favorite. <3 I have zero luck with any plant that is not mint. The last plant I bought was a fern and it didn't make it. I even killed tarragon this year, but the mint is thriving. Anyway, on top of my lack of green thumb, everything gets eaten in my yard. David Austin sells an Anne Boleyn Rose that I've always wanted, but I'm too scared to kill. That's interesting about the bras in Europe...I detest buying bras now. It's just painful. I have bras that are years old that are in great condition and I have ones I bought last year that are falling apart.

My bras come from Asda (was Walmart now something else). Cheap, they fit & I know what size I am.
