Famous for mid 1960's Bossa Nova influence, the songs Going Out Of My Head, Never Gonna Let You Go, The Look of Love, and many more. I still have one of their albums from then. More of my past disappearing. 😞

This is lush- makes me want to dance! That's a great classic song. I always associate it with "Joe vs. the Volcano" when Joe (Tom Hanks) is walking into the swanky hotel in Manhattan. This is my favorite Mendes song, though, and it's kind of obscure. It starts off with kind of dopey bouncy beat, but works up to a crescendo with the chorus. It's about a guy whose gf is pulling away from him and he is seeing all the signs (including "alibis"):

RIP.
I've always loved Mas que nada, in a world of gruesome german "schlager" little Lofty danced to that in her parents living room. Not even the Black Eyed Peas could ruin it for me.
