Best thing: he is less vain than he sometimes seemed to be when he was young. No plastic surgery, no hair dye. Aging gracefully and very well.

Yes, indeed . . .
edited to add: I didn't notice the suspenders the first time through. Who ever thought those would look so hot?

Peter Sellers was the ultimate Bond. Brosnan looks great. I credit his wife. sellers and daniel craig. The Craig "Casino Royale" has been on ALL WEEK, and I watch it pretty much every time I see it is already on. I especially like all the poker scenes. It was pretty cool to read that Mads Mikkelson loves Daniel Craig and loved working with him on this movie. ALSO, the Peter Sellers "Casino Royale" is on Tubitv, the free streaming service. So, anyone here can catch that whenever....

I remember reading a book (decades ago) on the different Bonds. At the time, I think Moore was still the current one. Anyway, this book said he was the best because he was the Bond who looked like he would (true to the book) actually care whether his martini was shaken and not stirred. What a criteria, LOL.
One thing that I think hasn't aged well with Bond films is fight scenes. Some of the ones with Connery and Moore were incredibly hokey, and were lampooned in "Austin Powers".
Craig's, by contrast, looked like real knock-down, drag-out fights. Like the fight in the stairway with the African warlord dudes at the hotel in Montenegro in "Casino Royale". Also, it shows him pretty banged up after one scene where he literally has cuts on his face and body. He even has to spend time convalescing at some kind of nursing facility after Le Chiffre played David and Goliath with his nether regions.

...and I liked Roger Moore best. at least you didn't say pierce brosnan. i actually love Moore's Bond, he's the campiest. and timothy dalton was underrated, the living daylights and licence to kill are both great, and it should already have been him in a view to a kill instead of roger moore, who had overstayed his welcome by that point.
