Goddamnit! I am so motherfucking tired of these motherfucking cycles. Will this shit ever fucking end? 4.5 months and I thought I was finally headed for the end. Until today. Fuck today.

My coworker is mad at me now because she's been longer than me without a cycle and was doing the countdown. But now she started about 4 days after I did! Says it's all my fault!

Right after my kid was born, I got a Mirena put in and sometimes I barely notice my period. They didn't exactly go away like a lot of other people report, but it's just spotting when I wipe. I don't even need pads most times. Haven't needed tampons since Mirena. And I used to have gross, super-heavy periods with debilitating cramping too.
God, it's no-win though. After you stop, then the uncomfortable side effects of menopause rear their ugly head. I'll be 45 in July and I'm not looking forward to menopause because fuck hot flashes.

I got my tubes tied & an ablation done 11 years ago, right before I turned 40. I got very light periods (when I would get them) & it was the best thing I did for myself! Prior to that, I was on the pill since I was 17 because my periods were so painful, heavy, & long when not on the pill. When I was 45 or 46, I went on HRT because the hot flashes & night sweats were out of control. I'd always been a hot sleeper, even when I was younger, but this was a whole other level & I was like "oh hell no, we are NOT doing this!" Now, I haven't had a period in over 2 years, so I'm in full on menopause.
