Is javier playing some kind of narco/mobster? Apparently not. The movie is about Pitt as a Formula 1 driver coming out of retirement to mentor a younger guy. It looks like Bardem is supposed to be some kind of executive. By the way, Pitt and Bardem did already do a movie together where they were a couple of narcos - "The Counselor" - god, that is a depressing movie....
