It is a thing, especially in the midwest where girls see things in celeb photos and try to replicate them, only they do it in the office.  It doesn't look any better during the day light, either.  

I mean, it would be one thing if it were some summery thing or a cover up or something fun...that's not this.

Pretty certain she's carrying Jennifer's coat. I saw photos the other week of her wearing something very similar.

She's close by in all the pictures suggesting she's a friend or assistant. The coat doesn't match her style of dress so I'm guessing that it's Jen's coat and the dark haired woman is carrying it so the dress isn't covered for the prearranged pap stroll.

I would say you’re going to the RIGHT events. And Chicago isn’t really known for being a fashion mecca so they might just be being tacky. I mostly see young girls wearing the sheer stuff to the office, or in one case, inquiring about a job in a sheer lace body suit.

ok. i don't frequently go to the office and when i do, there aren't many super young people, probably just interns. one of the places i worked years ago definitely had some people who were super fashion forward. i mean, one time, there was an IT dude wearing an ORANGE pge jumpsuit. no kidding. but most of the places i have worked since are more SF comfort/trendy .... dark wools, hoodies, lulu, etc. if someone wore a sheer dress like that to work they would def get side eye.

am going to a super cool SF restaurant sunday night. i'll let you know if i see any sheer stuff there. am doing korean bbq in japan town on saturday and i can check out that fashion scene, too.

Ugh, I hate this ugly vile fur hag! The dress looks like she borrowed it from Tootsie and the shoes from Strippers R Us. Her face looks hideous too, love it. 😈
