While I loved the show when it first aired, I never finished the whole series. I got bored at some point. I've never seen the Joey/Racheal episodes but it sounded really dumb to me.
My kid discovered Friends when it hit Netflix. I think she's seen it through like 3 times.
It's a silly little show about 20 somethings.

I liked Friends, but couldnāt stand Ross. Chandler was okay, but I preferred Joey. Matt leBlanc popped up on āEpisodesā as sort of a caricature of himself, he was really good.

I was a big fan of Friends in my early teens. Haven't watched it since though. But yeah add me to the list of people who couldn't stand Ross! Phoebe was my favourite.

I had a couple real-life friends or associates that were like Ross/Schwimmer, and they were always hard to get close to because they were just so neurotic and closed off. They pushed people away either consciously or unconsciously. So, his character was interesting to me from that standpoint.
Lisa Kudrow did a great job as kooky Phoebe ("Smelly Cat"). But I thought her character was kind of one dimensional, even if amusing, like Joey's.
Rachel's character actually developed. She seemed like a little bit of a princess who became more aware and rounded. Buy even though I like Aniston, I didn't like Rachel that much.
Chandler is another person who reminded me of a real-life person. Mrs Mo has a real-life friend and coworker who is brilliant and rapid-fire funny. That still didn't make me like Chandler that much.
Monica I liked the best. I feel like she was kind of the straight-man on the show but still funny and not annoying.

What? Mo liked the slender brunette best??? Shocked I tell you. I asked Mrs Mo about 30 minutes ago, which personality type she associated with Monica, and she said "anal". Then, I asked her which Friends character was most like her, and she burst out laughing.

Aawww, I didn't really have any favorites. Kudrow's screeching voice did get on my nerves from time to time (and she pretty much seemed to play the same quirky types in most other things - not many - that I saw her in, as did Anniston). I thought the Rachel character really was a spoiled, selfish and entitled bitch and we always wondered why she, apparently, was supposedly the "pretty" one, when we all thought Monica was much prettier. The OCD thing with Monica became kind of predictable. Joey really dumbed down with each season; by the end of the show he was practically retarded. Chandler did have character development in that he learned to commit and calmed down a bit. Ross was boring as hell, but later we laughed hysterically about some of his scenes that pretty much became classics of the show, like these:

Pivot! First time I saw that scene I couldn't stop laughing. My son told me whenever he and his gf are moving furniture they yell Pivot.

I always felt like the only woman in the free world who never got into this show during its run.
But here's how dedicated I am to my weekly trivia team: I actually binge watched this show because one of our female players who was our go-to for any questions about this show doesn't play anymore (work schedule changed and moved) and anytime we get a Friends question in the TV category almost every team is going to get this answer right. So us not being able to get a question correct that almost every team can was unacceptable to me. Thus I took one for the team. I didn't realize how fucking many episodes of this show there were! It wore me out. I had to take breaks.
I say Chandler was the most likeable of the men. My favorite of the women was Phoebe.
I think I liked all the women better than the men overall.
I surprisingly kind of liked Daved Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian in The People vs OJ Simpson on Netflix. I found Ross annoying though.
