It's an interesting concept, but I don't find it particularly aesthetically pleasing.

Billie Eilish just gave fans a glimpse of her latest ink!

A month after soft-launching the sprawling spinal tattoo by posting just a small snippet of it, she shared a photo of the full design in a new Instagram carousel.

In the Wednesday photo dump, the 21-year-old singer included a picture of jack-o'-lanterns, a screenshot of a Drake lyric referencing her — and a shot of her massive back tattoo.

The photo appeared to be taken during the tattooing process just after the outline of the ink was done. (In the earlier photo she shared, the tattoo was entirely filled-in.) The black-ink tattoo, which spans from the nape of her neck to her lower back, is abstract and sci-fi-esque — an increasingly popular style that has been seen on stars like Grimes. It was done by tattoo artist Matias Milan, according to her earlier post.

So what is it supposed to be? An alien topography map?

It's abstract, it's not meant to represent anything, but your lines are supposed to create patterns that are aesthetically pleasing. My colleague does that super well, and I have seen really pretty sleeves in that style

I found this other pic that shows just a bit of the top but after cleaning ... I dunno, I think it's pretty awesome:

The first pic looks like a chicken got caught in the tattoo apparatus.

Interesting. To me it looks like a tattoo done in the 90s, to the best of their abilities back then.
