Ugh. How hard is it to just stfu? I think at this point she welcomes even the negative attention she knows she's bound to get from this.
How Kirstie can not know she's in a cult by now (or worse, not care) just means she's way more batshit than I ever gave her credit for. People 10 years behind on things are hip to the CO$ and their fuckery. She should be in the Leah Remini camp by now.
I think all that exposure to pink, ruffles and Laura Ashley vomited on every wall of her home has done something to her brain.
Or maybe all that coke she did in the 80's.

i don't really know who Maksim Chmerkovskiy is beyond what's been posted to the board but i kind of have to side eye him. i mean, it would be one thing if he were choosing to stay and fight but otherwise, why the hell was he even still in the country? especially if he's a US resident (or even a citizen? no idea what his status is) living in ukraine, and told weeks before to get out. so if his intention wasn't to stick around for the war anyway, but he still chose to stay, and he's documenting the whole thing on social media and taking the time to get into twitter fights with has-been trumplicans like kirstie alley... yeah, i think he's actually using this for publicity and he definitely gets the side eye...

I've been wondering the same thing, Sput. It's not as if the Russian invasion came out of nowhere. Apparently, he was there for a dance show, which makes sense. What doesn't make sense is why he stayed in the face of the inevitable aggression.
Now he's saying he feels "survivor's remorse - I believe that's what it's called." (Shades of Hilaria, but at least he's actually from Ukraine, lol.)
I do understand if he feels conflicted, though. I get that. Celebrities, even moderately famous like Maksim, live in a make-believe bubble. It's all just another reality show until, "Oh my God, they're shooting real guns and dropping actual bombs."
And yeah, based on my experience in Hollywood, some of them are that out of touch. They don't even have to actually be stupid - it's simply that after years of special treatment they've lost sight of a good chunk of reality.

Yeah, he is a bit of a showboater, going back to his DWTS days. But I'll cut him some slack since Ukraine is his birth country. I think I read he is a citizen of both US and Ukraine.

I saw an interview with him on Anderson Cooper last night. He said he moved to the US when he was 6, and has dual citizenship. He was in Ukraine filming something when he was told to evacuate. Then he had some guilt because all the other evacuees were women and children.
