she may not be 'lazy' but not hard working, either. like sput said, she seems to be a hands on parent and that's her priority. *shrugs* This was before she was even married. She just faffed around 2-3 days a week so she could be at his beck & call... |

No, I meant all the quoted media responses to the column. The royalist rags always try to make the royal family sound like heroes for showing up to ribbon cuttings, when it suits their overall agenda. Seems like overkill, and a waste of time, to take it too seriously I guess? It’s just more of their usual. Especially since these are the same people who called Kate lazy when it suited them, but put her in the hero category once Meghan markle came along and they had a new agenda. They also have their built in audience that they’re targeting and they’re the only ones they care about. |

i dunno. i can see why cancer survivors are offended by the comment, it is pretty hideous. and i say this as someone who never had cancer but knows plenty of survivors and also knew people who didn't make it.

She's been out of action an awfully long time for that treatment to only be "preventative". Preventative chemo is often used post cancer surgery to target residual cells. It’s to help mitigate potential recurrence. |

i dunno. i can see why cancer survivors are offended by the comment, it is pretty hideous. and i say this as someone who never had cancer but knows plenty of survivors and also knew people who didn't make it. In the last eight months alone I've been to two funerals for friends who didn't beat cancer. A third is now undergoing a fresh round of preventative chemo after having already been through surgery/chemo because the doctors aren't entirely happy with their latest round of checks and tests. All of them worked until it physically wasn't possible for them because as "lesser mortals" they had silly mortal needs, like eating and paying the bills. |
