Sean Penn Is in Ukraine Shooting a Documentary About Russia Conflict
The 61-year-old actor has been in the country filming a documentary about the conflict with Russia for Vice, via Deadline.
Sean met with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky this week, and also attended a government press briefing as Russia invaded the country, via Daily Mail.
The outlet added that Sean Penn flew to Kyiv earlier this week, and previously traveled to Ukraine in November, when he met with military forces near the front lines with Russia-backed separatists in Donetsk, one of the two regions Russian president Vladimir Putin recognized as independent last week.
