I think it's also the distance that the photo was taken. Plus JPG compression, which would smooth out the image.

Any 50 or 60 year old guy with hair, good teeth and a flat stomach isn't something I see all that often. Wrinkles don't matter. He looks clean, sharply dressed and no baseball cap.

Hard to judge if he's had work done or not, since those pics were taken with a long-range lens. And having sunglasses on makes it impossible to see if there's been any work, like a blepharoplasty (or even just Botox & filler) in the eye area.

Nah, though I totally agree with you about Gosling, who has the face of a rodent, I've always thought Pitt's looks are way overrated. His face looks like it's been put together from leftover parts. Personally I think for a fluff movie like this about toys, basically, you indeed need people with symmetrical features. Somebody with looks like the late Jon-Erik Hexum. Long dead, after accidentally killing himself while playing with a prop gun loaded with a wad of paper on the set for a TV series he starred in:   |
