From the NY Post:
Madonna has been rushed to a New York City hospital after being found unresponsive, Page Six has exclusively revealed.
The pop icon, 64, was discovered at a residence on Saturday before being admitted to the ICU where she was intubated overnight.
Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, shared on Instagram Wednesday that his client had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU.”
The “Vogue” crooner is now out of the intensive care unit and recovering in a regular ward of the unidentified hospital.
The singer’s oldest daughter, Lordes Leon, 26, has reportedly been by her superstar mother’s bedside throughout the entire ordeal.
Note: She was hospitalized on Saturday.

I'm deleting my thread if possible.
this is from People, other articles state that she'd been intubated after being found unresponsive.
Madonna Hospitalized for 'Serious Bacterial Infection,' Halts Tour: 'Full Recovery Expected'
“She is out of the ICU now and recovering,” a source tells PEOPLE
Madonna has been hospitalized due to a “serious” infection.
On Wednesday, talent manager and producer Guy Oseary announced on Instagram that the “Material Girl” singer, 64, was in the ICU due to the health scare and is now recovering.
“On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU,” he wrote. “Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”
“At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour,” the statement continued. Madonna was preparing to kick off her Celebration World Tour next month, commemorating the 40-year anniversary of her career.
“We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”
“She is out of the ICU now and recovering,” a source tells PEOPLE.
Madonna’s last health issue was back in late 2020 when she underwent a hip replacement surgery, 11 months after an injury she sustained on her Madame X tour forced her to cancel several shows on the North American leg.
During her Madame X Presents: Madame Xtra Q&A special in 2021, the music icon opened up about the painful surgery.
"Let me be really honest with you—I used to be, like, a fitness/workout maniac," she said at the time. "You probably know that right?... During my [2019 Madame X] tour—I don't know if you've noticed it, but I'm limping a lot—I was in more pain than I've ever been in in my life. I'm a bionic woman—I had hip replacement surgery.
"So, how do I stay in shape? It's all in your head... It's called will, it's called no one's gonna stop me, and how I stay in shape is no one's gonna stop me. And how I stay in shape is I don't believe in limitations," Madonna added.

I've been expecting something like this. The tickets for her tour weren't selling like they'd expected and they had to lower ticket prices. Madonna's one of several performers recently who have had "health emergencies" that led to the postponement of their tours. Her promoters will probably scale back the tour, book smaller venues and recalculate their pricing strategy so that Madonna can still have sold-out performances. Or maybe she overdosed on something, but they're calling it a bacterial infection instead.

^ I mean maybe she did have an infection, but I did also wonder if it was a cover up for an overdose. I had a feeling this tour would be postponed/cancelled for some reason.

Is she going to pull a "Michael Jackson - This is it" thing? The tour that didn't tour tour? Maybe she broke her hip.

Isn't stuff like this that happens to old people? They don't eat right, get all confused, fall over & the home help discovers them the next day???

Well, it is also possible that she had a bad infection and was seriously ill - for no other reason. I'm wishing her a speedy recovery.
Edit, from Wiki: On the day of the general sale, January 20, additional second dates were added in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Barcelona and Milan, along with a third date in Paris and two extra dates in London due to popular demand.[28] Over 200,000 fans queued to buy tickets for the London dates,[29] and nearly 30,000 people were waiting in the digital queue in Netherlands according to Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau (ANP).[30] Ticketmaster's website in Spain crashed for moments.[31] According to Billboard, over 600,000 tickets were sold that day. Despite numerous reports that tickets for the tour were some of the most expensive ever for any artist, shows across North America and Europe experienced "extraordinary demand" and sold out in record time, prompting Madonna's team to add several new dates in both continents.[32][33][34][35][36][37][38] On that date, the first three New York City shows sold out under 15 minutes, the first two London dates within 20 minutes, Paris shows under seven minutes, and her Amsterdam date sold out in 10 minutes.[39]
On January 23, second dates in Copenhagen, Cologne and Berlin were announced.[40][41] On the same day, a second show was added in Lisbon due to very high demand despite tickets for the show being the most expensive for any concert tour in Portugal's history.[32][40][41] Around the same time, Madonna herself posted a short video on her official platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, thanking her fans for their "love and support".[42]
On January 26, after the four shows in London had sold out, a fifth concert, to be held at the O2 Arena in December 2023, was announced due to "sensational demand" for tickets by British fans.[43] Later that day, due to continued demand new dates were also added in Brooklyn and Inglewood bringing the total number of shows in each of New York City and Greater Los Angeles to six.[44] On the following day, a fourth and final concert in Paris was announced as well.[45] On January 30, due to continued "extraordinary demand", a sixth show at the O2 Arena in London, to be held on 6 December 2023, was announced.[46]
On March 27, 2023, due to continued "overwhelming demand", eight additional shows were added in the United States (billed as the last ones to be held in the country for the tour),[47] including second dates in Phoenix and Washington, D.C., and third shows in San Francisco and Las Vegas. First shows in Nashville, Palm Springs, Sacramento, and Philadelphia were announced as well.[47] The addition of the show in Nashville was in reaction to Tennessee Senate Bill 3 and to "over 100 anti-LGBTQ+ bills currently before state legislatures" in the United States.[47][48] Calling the oppression of LGBTQ+ people "unacceptable and inhumane", the artist vowed to donate portion of the proceeds from the Nashville show to trans rights organizations.[47]
After anticipation in the Mexican press,[49] the first show in Mexico City was officially confirmed on April 17, 2023.[50][51][52] This show would be held on January 25, 2024 at the Palacio de los Deportes. On April 21, 2023, a second date was announced after the first show sold out in minutes.[53][54] The second show, to be held on January 27, 2024, also sold out within minutes of going on general sale,[54][55] leading to the addition of a third date at the venue.[56][55] Due to "overwhelming demand", a fourth date to be held on January 30, 2024, was revealed on May 4, 2023.[57]
It doesn't look like she has a problem selling tickets.

Not to be nitpicky, but she was rushed to the ER. Then transferred to the ICU. It appears she's medically stable now. But yeah, scary. Poor Lourdes.
My first thought also with bacterial infection is some of the artificial shit she is having put into her body these days.

Madonna has been very hard on her body for years (in a variety of ways ). She has already had hip replacement surgery. I've heard her tours are non-stop movement (at least they used to be). I'm sure it is all very grueling and at 60+ you can't quite move the same way you did a few decades, or even just one decade, ago. I wouldn't be surprised if she completely wore herself out preparing for the tour. (I could also believe a lot of the other theories posted here!)
