I actually quite like the top half and would have loved this were it a shirt paired with some jeans ... but then she would have worn those stupid fold over fatty jeans and I would still be disappointed. Point being, I think it might make an okay shirt.

Agree mostly, but as I was looking at all the other pictures of women who supposedly "dressed up" to go out, I realized that JLo is always GROOMED. We don't have to like what she wears, but she pays attention to every detail of her appearance and takes care of how she looks. Here I am being old again, but I think that shows respect not only for herself but for the people around her.
