This is really sad news. Tina was like Bowie - always there through every decade and you always expected her to continue to be there. Rest in peace.

There was a solid portion of my life that I wanted to grow up to be Tina Turner. Her onstage strut was so powerful and raw it just exploded with fury and joy. I know there is supposed to be a very dark tale/s that will emerge now that she is gone, but I loved her. RIP, Tina.

But then - she was so overwhelmingly wonderful and such an inspiration on many levels, I don't really care about anything else.

This is sad. Tina was the first show I ever went to, I was only 8 and I still remember it vividly.

Saw her with their “Review” at the Circle Star Theater (near San Francisco) in 1971. She was a powerhouse even back then. RIP Tina. We shared the same maiden name.
