I think it's hilarious that we are worried about the welfare of a 40-year-old person with a $60 Million net worth, and an inexhaustible supply of residual income even if she spends the rest of her life lounging on a nude beach. Let's do Warren Buffett next. Is he living his best life??? My issue is SHE IS NOT OK. Personally, I worry for anyone struggling with mental illness that isn't seemingly well-managed and she doesn't appear to be well managed. Her eyes are manic, her thoughts are jumbled and often nonsensical in her IG posts. While she is indeed super rich by my solidly middle class American income bracket, she is still seemingly spending a lot of money very quickly. I highly doubt her residual income is inexhaustible. Her liquid assets were said to be only a few million dollars of liquidity. I read the vast majority of her assets are in real estate, so what happens when she liquidates in order to have more money to spend? She has stated repeatedly she has zero interest or intentions of going back to "work". In her business, "work" (touring/residencies) is how they make their money. It's not the record deals that pay the millions. She's going to go broke, imo. Frankly, in her present state, and again it's just what she's showing us publicly, I don't think she's actually stable enough to go to back to "work" anyway. I mean, sure, her fans and gawkers will come out in droves to buy tickets to any shitty show she'll put on. But girl is 40 and her last residency while a money maker, generated tons of complaints about her lack of energy and dancing. Honestly, I have concerns for her but end of day she's an adult (and I do think she requires oversight) and as it stands, free to spend every last penny and live in a cardboard box. But she has a responsibility to provide for her children until they are of age. And that's not tapping into trusts that may already be set up for them to do so. By most definitions, that is sitting-around-not-doing-a-thing-and-still-collecting $4 Million a year. 99.9% of Americans have managed to live on less cash flow, so I'm not worried too much about Spears in terms of finances. I think one of her bigger issues seems to be (besides a low IQ) that she shacks up with guys who sponge off of her. I think they are the ones who tilt her into seriously negative cash flow. In terms of whether she is okay or not - who knows? She fought bitterly in court for the right to be determined okay enough to make her own decisions. I would think a bunch of evaluations were done since the whole case was so contentious. Her sons around 16 and 17 now. So, almost legal adults, meaning that they will soon be outside her legal obligation to care for them. |

A rich person can blow 4 mil a year without blinking. It's not like she's on the Dave Ramsey budget program. I can easily blow 4 million.  Re: her kids; at 16 & 17 she has at least another 2 years of very costly monthly support to go. I would imagine the support order extends beyond 18 if they pursue higher education (standard in most support orders) until 22 or college completion, whichever comes first. She pays KFed 20k per month plus school tuition & fees. |

People who activate and deactivate their social media accounts and post attention seeking or pseudo-cryptic passive-aggressive shit like this are a huge red flag for me. Usually a sign of attention whoring, emotional immaturity and instability, flightiness… like people who say they hate drama and yet it seems to inevitably always find them. A milder version is people who post those text images of dumb affirmations about getting rid of toxic people in your life or how hard it is for empaths lol
Total red flag for high school behaviour.

I wish they had done the conservatorship differently for her. Sounds like her father was so verbally abusive to her and keeping her a prisoner was totally the wrong thing to do.

Regarding $4 Million - yes, anybody theoretically could blow $4 Million a year, or $40 Million a year, or $400 Million a year (you could volunteer to fund Putin's ill-fated invasion of Ukraine, for example). But the thing is -- she has a LOT of money coming in for doing absolutely nothing. Anything after that is a bonus and of her own volition.
