Well goddammit, I even googled her before I spoke!     I didn't know what Sweet Magnolias was but now I do remember it was on Netflix's top ten a while back and it looked saccharine so I dismissed it.  I had no clue she was in it.  I guess I would say that she doesn't really HOG the spotlight in the same way Britney used to and still does.  I mean, I don't know what else she would do. It doesn't seem like a family that ever put a focus on academics so I don't even know if she finished high school.  I hope things go better for JL's daughter.  Anyway, I still think it's possible she took the opportunity to run away from Hollywood the second she could. She still has the luxury of laying low if she wants.  

As for boycotting, even otherwise rational people are so obsessed with their own dogma that they've ended friendships over what movies someone else sees.  I don't understand the black and white thinking.

Britney Spears's first husband Jason Alexander will be whisked up to Northern California to face charges there as soon as he is freed after trying to crash the singer's wedding, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Police told DailyMail.com the charges in Napa County, west of Sacramento, relate to a 2015 incident where Alexander allegedly stole a $2,000 tennis bracelet and pawned it for $180.

Alexander, 40, was collared by police on Thursday after he stormed ex-wife Spears's luxury Thousand Oaks home hours before she married Sam Ashgari, 28, there.

He has since been charged with two counts of battery, one of vandalism and one of trespassing and is being held in the Ventura County Jail until his arraignment on Monday.

Spears had previously been married to Alexander when they got married in January for just 55 hours in 2004 in a spur-of-the-moment ceremony in Vegas


Alexander (pictured in a September 2021 mugshot) is currently being held by the Ventura Sheriff's Department and has been charged with trespassing, vandalism and battery

Bond for that incident has been set at $22,500 but sources from the Napa County Sherriff's Office told DailyMail.com that Alexander will be held until he can be released into their custody.

The Napa warrant concerns a 2015 incident that saw Alexander allegedly steal a sapphire and diamond tennis bracelet from a woman who had rented him a room.

Police said she noticed it was missing a month after Alexander moved in in August 2015 and confronted him about it.

He initially denied it but in November 2015, he admitted to stealing the bracelet and pawning it at a Napa pawn shop for $180.

Alexander said he was unable to get it back and offered to replace it with a different bracelet but the victim turned it down and reported him to police in February 2016.

By then, Alexander had left the area but police issued a warrant for his arrest on charges that included grand theft and buying or receiving stolen property, and they were able to return the bracelet to the victim.

Alexander's latest arrest came after he snuck onto Spears's Lake Sherman, California, property via a public hiking trail at the back before confronting security, demanding to see Spears, and searching the rose-filled marquee where the wedding took place.

In his livestream of the incident, he is also heard screaming: 'I'm Jason Alexander! The first husband! I'm here to crash the wedding!'

Alexander also shouted: 'She's my first wife, she's my only wife'. Security was then seen wrestling him to the ground before cops arrived.

The drama happened on Britney's own property in Thousand Oaks, California hours before her wedding was due to start

He can be seen in aerial footage being escorted off the property. He has been charged with two counts of battery, one of vandalism and one of trespassing

Alexander married childhood friend Spears in Las Vegas in 2004 before the union was annulled 55 hours later. His latest arrest is the fourth in 13 months

Three Ventura County Sheriff vehicles were then seen descending on Spears' $7million estate, along with a team from the Ventura County Fire Department.

Records show Alexander's appearance was listed as a medical emergency by the Fire Department who were called in at 2.14pm by cops.

Fire Department records also show that cops initially believed shots had been fired before canceling the medical callout after realizing Alexander was unarmed.

An onlooker told DailyMail.com of the moment deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene along with a fire truck shortly after 2pm on Thursday.

They said: 'It all happened very fast. Three cop cars just showed up and went screeching up her drive.

'We were all trying to figure out what's going on, especially after the fire truck left.'

In a statement released ahead of Spears's lavish nuptials, her lawyer Matthew Rosengart said he wanted to see Alexander prosecuted 'to the fullest extent of the law.'

'Jason Alexander has been handcuffed, taken into custody and arrested. I express my thanks to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department for their prompt response and good work,' he said.

Rosengart added: 'I am personally working with the sheriff's department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.'

Despite the drama outdoors, inside the venue the star-studded wedding of Spears and long-term partner Sam Asghari later went off without a hitch, with celebrities including Madonna, Paris Hilton and Donatella Versace joining festivities which took place at Britney's 12,464-square-foot, five-bedroom, eight-bath villa.

The happy couple were spotted leaving their wedding on Thursday night in a white 'Just Married' Rolls Royce. Celebrity guests seemed unfazed by the drama as they were chauffeured home.

Alexander married childhood friend Spears, 40, in a drunken Las Vegas ceremony in 2004, only for the union to be annulled 55 hours later.

He was easily able to scale a fence, descend a rocky hillside and slip inside the wedding venue, all-the-while telling security exactly who he was, and why he was there – just hours before the fairytale ceremony got underway.

I honestly thought she was running around completely naked and some chivalrous guest threw a jacket over her.   I can't believe the tuxedo "dress", the diamond thong, and the ratty extensions were an actual "sexy look" she was trying to achieve on purpose.  It takes dedication to look that trashy.
