I want to say they do a lot of those early tests automatically, as standard care, like czb said. I've forgotten exactly what is done when, too. It was a jumble since I was sent straight to a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist. Felt like I was there every other week in the beginning.

I do tend to think she was pregnant. I imagine she knows the value of selling her own first bump pics, and that's why she kept it off IG. But who knows what's really going on in that squirrely brain of hers.

yeah. i think they do the NT and those tests at ~9 weeks. it is def standard of care here. probably just ordered by your regular OB.

i went to the OB specialist because i was >40 with twins. but i think a 40 year old carrying a singleton with no other health issues would likely just be cared for by a regular OB. the twist with britney maybe whatever meds she takes to support her mental health. some may not be advised during pregnancy. if she even takes them.

We talked to a genetic counselor for both pregnancies. One of the things that really stood out for me were the odds of Down Syndrome by maternal age. I think for us it had gone up by a factor of 2-3 between our first and second child. I just looked at a chart, and the odds of Britney having a Downs child when she had her first (at age 24) child was 1 in 1,300. Now, at age 40, the odds are 1 in 100. Similarly, the percent chance of a miscarriage at 24 is around 15% but by 40, it's around 38%.

I had mine at 37 and 41. Went to a regular OB both times, no genetic counseling. They both turned out ok, thank goodness. I did have a lot of miscarriages in between the two, however.

I'm not a practicing (or licensed) psychologist but do have Masters in General Psych and 3,000 practicum hours under my belt. So, my semi-professional opinion.

  I honestly think my 11 year old grandkid could have done a more passable photoshopping of that pic.  And she's just an average 11 year old, FFS.

She's in great shape, there's just no need.  But yeah, I get that they all do that - but goddamn, at least make an effort for it to not look like an 8 year old's first time photoshopping.  

This is all so sad. And her stans cheering her on like some hero when she clearly needs help.  

Not from that trash family of course, but from a trustworthy professional of some kind.  Jesus.  

To be clear:  I'm not nude-shaming her or whatever.  Do your thing, I guess.  But these constant thirsty photos, coupled with the nonsensical rants.. how anyone can think this is healthy is beyond me.

I've come to the conclusion these posts are just click bait. She will be getting paid per post and probably extra for the likes and comments. Even the dullest post can net a celebrity $10,000 so it would be interesting to see how much Britney receives per post.

I no longer have much empathy for her, she has more money than God, can afford doctors and mental help on her own, and for some reason she just floats along in her crazy bubble and thankfully that we know of she has not seriously injured anyone else along the way (she drives now it is just a matter of time). It is not funny it is not cute it is disturbing, and her man should be ashamed of himself for encouraging her nonsense. Free Britney? More like thanks for Unleashing her onto the world!!

Lance Bass doesn’t believe Britney Spears is entirely free.

The former *NSYNC heartthrob claims to Page Six that he has not been able to get in touch with the Princess of Pop since her conservatorship was terminated in November 2021.

“Not at all,” he told us at the Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s sixth annual World Dog Day in West Hollywood, Calif., on Saturday, making sure to note that he has tried to reach out.

Lance Bass tells Page Six he believes there is still “a wall around” Britney Spears following the termination of her conservatorship.

“It’s just, you know, there’s a wall around her,” he alleged. “And for some reason, those people don’t want her old friends involved with her life.”

Bass, 43, and Spears, 40, have known each other since the late ’90s, when they ran in similar circles and dominated the pop music charts. The “Lucky” singer also famously dated Bass’ former bandmate, Justin Timberlake, at the time.

The two remained close over the years, building a bond so tight that Bass quietly told Spears he was gay years before he publicly came out.

“For some reason, those people don’t want her old friends involved with her life,” he alleged.

However, in July 2021 – the month after the “Toxic” singer advocated for her own representation in what she described as an abusive legal arrangement controlled by her father, Jamie Spears – Bass claimed during a podcast interview that he hadn’t seen or talked to his pal “in years.”

“We’ve been kept away from each other for quite a while,” he said at the time, adding that the last time they spent time together was in 2016.

Still, he has nothing but love for Britney, whom he learned late last year is actually his sixth cousin once removed.

“I just wish her luck,” he told Page Six during our chat. “She seems very happy, so I’m happy that she’s happy.”

Bass previously claimed that the last time he saw Spears was in 2016.

As for Bass, he also seems quite happy these days – despite being a sleep-deprived new dad to twins.

“It’s a lot easier than I thought,” he told us of parenthood. “And I hate to say that, ’cause I know a lot of parents out there will want to slap me, but it is.”

He added, “They’ve been so good. They’re good babies.”

Though he and husband Michael Turchin are “tired as hell,” Bass said daughter Violet Betty and son Alexander James, 7 months, have brought the couple “closer together.”

Britney Spears took to Instagram on Saturday with a revelation for her 41.1 million followers.

The 40-year-old pop artist said she was invited to the Met Gala but opted to stay home.

'I was gonna go to Met Gala but instead I got in the tub with my dog and put pjs on,' she wrote in a caption.

The mother-of-two added that she 'hates' flying. The note accompanied a video of her rocking back and forth silently.

She let fans know that she reposted the clip, which she had shared previously. 'Yes I reposted this video !!! I wanted it in real time in silence,' she wrote.

The caption continued, 'Why I’ve never done that before !!!'

The Oops!... I Did It Again singer wore a long-sleeved red onesie with a black heart and leopard print pattern throughout.

The hitmaker posed nude, covering her chest with the palms of her hands.

She pulled her disheveled locks into a ponytail as she stood in front of a glass door.

Britney wrote, 'Not the same pic … this is red blood heart pic,' referring to a heart emoji that she used to cover her crotch.

A second photo showed her on a beach with her dog Swayer as she threw her head back in laughter.

'Then if you swipe you can see me and Sawyer with our mouths open,' she added to the caption with a crying laughing emoji.

Britney and her fiancé Sam Asghari, 28, have been spending time in Las Vegas and Mexico after revealing she had suffered a miscarriage in a tender post shared on May 14.
