The plow, or whatever that thing was that fell on him, missed his face. Otherwise he could have had reconstructive surgery (bad joke, I know). |

^^^ actually, it didn't. It fractured his orbital eye socket in multiple places. They could have easily sneaked plastic surgery in under those auspices.

Interesting factoid from TMZ: "Jeremy Renner was so badly injured after being run over by that snowplow, he actually saw one of his eyes -- which had popped out of its socket -- with his other eye."
