I don't think anyone posted about it previously. The Cash App founder, Bob Lee was stabbed around 2:30 am at night a couple weeks ago. And there was even security cam video of him clutching his chest and screaming for help. Even a 911 call.
At first, everyone was like "San Fran crime is out of control! There are all these vagrants and drug users in the street causing crime!"
And supposedly, Bob Lee had left San Fran because he didn't like the rising crime there. But went to Miami (where you could argue that the crime isn't so great either).
And if that was the case, what was he doing back in San Fran anyway?
And then starting yesterday, you find out the suspect is another tech executive.
And today, the Daily Mail is saying that it was an argument between the other exect and Bob Lee over accusations on what Bob Lee was up to regarding the other guy's married younger sister.
Wow.......

^^^^ that will never happen. i was reading somewhere that they asked one of the tech-douches with a podcast who was one of the ones to rant the most about this if this news had made him change his mind and he said it hadn't and that it was perfectly natural to assume a violent homeless person had done this and that it was tacky of the press to try to frame this as a gotcha moment www.nytimes.com/2023/04/14/business/bob-lee-tech-reaction-san-francisco.html

I thought the whole thing was sketchy, especially since it happened at some ungodly hour like 2:30 AM. Nothing good happens after midnight.

I just noticed that Carter had posted about this a few days ago. The stories now have morphed into the incredibly lurid world of tech CEOs and all the shenanigans the are up to.
