I know the old GR header is a classic, but I think its time to update it. If you'd like to try your hand at designing a new banner for us, that would be great. Colors and design are completely up to you (we can change the forum colors to match it. If we get more than one submission we will put it to a vote. Submissions accepted until April 15th.

i've been working in some ideas for the new banner.
this is what i have:
i included some pieces that took elements of the present design, and also worked on alternatives. the colors, styles and typefaces, etc. can be modified.
i'm not fishing for compliments so it is ok if there are things you don't like. and please let me know if there is something you want to see, add, change or try.
i already have a favourite but my idea was to show you what i did so far and to know if someone has opinions or ideas.

I would miss Marilyn so I kinda like the first one. But I think it should say Gossip Rocks Too since that's the official name now. JMO eta: or even Gossip Rocks II or Gossip Rocks Two |

it might be the nostalgia talking but i'm also partial to the first one but agree with trixie re: the name, and if i could make a suggestion, maybe it's time to move away from the rainbow colour palette? or only have it on her face and not the rest of the banner. i also like the font you used it's kind of similar to the original but way, way better.
my second favourite is the second to last one, with the shiny pink lettering on the teal/turquoise background.
i wonder if there's a way to combine the two? or add the marilyn detail to the teal and pink one.

I like Marilyn being part of the logo too. I like Trixie's suggestion of the name being Gossip Rocks II and I agree with sputnik about maybe only having the rainbow colour on her face.

here is an update with new and modified designs.
i changed the title for 'Gossip Rocks Too', but if you want to see how would it work with II or 2, let me know.
i don't know if anyone else is designing options for the banner. i'll leave these here and i can modify or submit alternatives before next saturday if anyone asks me.
