It's definitely weird. If she were 39 and he 29 it would be way less weird.
At her age there's no way I would have been interested in a 19 year old. Even if he were from a rich and famous family.
His brain isn't even fully developed. He can't be as experienced. Maybe she is stunted/stuck in adolescence in some way.
I would say the same if ages/genders were reversed.

Am I the only one grossed out at that 29 year old woman dating a fucking teen? i'm not grossed out per se but having been in the same situation but in reverse - i was 19, my ex was 29 - i feel sexist and hypocritical in thinking that i just don't understand how a 29 year-old woman could want anything to do with a 19 year-old guy. i had a 10 year difference with my ex but even now, 25 years later, i have nothing but good memories of it, there was no power imbalance, we're still friends, he's still an amazing human, and it was an amazing relationship. and i've known people in similar situations. maybe it's because men mature later generally, but when i was 29 i couldn't have imagined dating a 19 year-old guy. maybe it's personal taste and experience and because with very few exceptions (and only one that was serious), i've always dated men my age or older and younger men, generally speaking, don't appeal to me. |

I was 21 with a 34 year old (physically, with hindsight not mentally! Lol).
At 23/24 I dated a 19 year old (I thought he was older) & as mature as he was he was still very young & naïve.

Yikes. I thought that was Brooklyn at first. I know that chick he married looks older than him 29?? This one with Cruz looks 39. If that's what passes for "looking smitten with" then the bar is really low. Maybe this was a misprint and they meant it the other way around that she looks smitten with him. she looks older than 28, that's for sure. Even if she IS 29, what in the world does a 29 year old woman has in common with a barely legal 19 year old? 🚩🚩🚩🚩 |

Y'all going to shit your pants but I did grow up in a southern state, I was 16 and my parents briefly let me go out with someone who was 32 or 34 because they had a good job and a nice car. I was bored shitless with this guy I'm going to tell you what and he was a pervert. He ended up marrying one of my classmates sisters. He was also horrible in the sack he was really lazy. 😂

I think she's way more beautiful than her mom was. Her mom was pretty but annoyed me with her culty CO$ ways, which I blame for the demise of Jett.
And John was handsome back in the day. Actually has improved and looks way better now than he has in years with no longer sporting the head rugs.
Ella is definitely a good mix of both.
