I’m shocked at how the kids wear hoodies and long pants in this Florida heat during the Summer!!

When we lived in Miami years ago and DarkJr was in the 5th grade these kids would be in their fleece quarter zips the second the low temp was 79 or under. And not a drop of sweat even if the temp was mid 80s and they still had them on in the afternoon when school was letting out (as evidenced by the students assisting in directing in the parking lot and car line pick up) As for us, we do get hotter than Miami in the summer but we do have seasons here where it's genuinely cold in the winter. So Miami just felt like year round spring/summer to us. When living there I had to make Dark Jr take a coat to school just so they knew he had one because the teachers actually asked when they never saw him wearing one long after everyone else had started. But he never came close to needing one. He mayyybe wore his quarter zip around Jan-Feb but only early in the morning he'd be out of it by 10-11am. Nonetheless I made him carry one to school (which he would hang up next to his bookbag) just so they could see that yes, he had one. And I wasn't a crappy parent!

Well for the last couple of years, we’ve really had no winter. Maybe a couple of cooler days last year and the year before we used a space heater on Christmas and the day after. Even being a Floridian, we used to get pretty cool when I was young, even snowing in 76, but it’s really not been anything like it used to in the 80’s and earlier. But no global warming folks!

We have false fall in NYC. Cold enough in the morning to wear a sweater or jacket and warm enough by afternoon to take it off and walk around in your shorts. But she’s still wearing her jacket and hat. 🤷♀️ Don’t you take off all the winter stuff when it’s warm enough for short? Nope. eta: You'd just end up carrying it, which is more of a hassle.

My nephews will be out in ankle deep snow with basketball shorts and a North Face jacket. Talking about they’re not cold. Can’t tell these kids nothing 🤣🤣 Also that jacket doesn’t look to be hers. It’s judge on her and rolled at the wrists. I wonder if she spent the night and didn’t bring weather appropriate clothes for chilly mornings and he just gave her a coat knowing it’ll warm up and the she’ll be ok in shorts.

In the mid 90’s, when I lived on Miami Beach, I went to a Christmas party in Coral Springs and it was so cold. It was hovering around 40 and we could all see our breath when we were outside. The restaurant/club had a fireplace outside and everyone was huddled around it.

I was just going to say that, shellee: Halle looks pissed and frustrated, and Nahla looks resentful. I'm glad people don't read my face like this - they'd rarely be right about my emotions.

Yikes. I thought that was Brooklyn at first. I know that chick he married looks older than him
29?? This one with Cruz looks 39. If that's what passes for "looking smitten with" then the bar is really low.
Maybe this was a misprint and they meant it the other way around that she looks smitten with him.

Wow. The last time I remember seeing a pic of Harper she was a nondescript kind of plump preteen. How quickly they change . . .

Kids tend to thin up a bit as they hit their teen growth spurts.
I hope she doesn't feel pressured in regard to her weight, given who her mom is.
We know Vicky is not naturally the size she is. She very much restricts her intake (and whatever else) to maintain that look. But at least she was a grown adult by the time she started looking the way she does. It wouldn't be healthy for a still growing child to be doing the same things.
